I loved our Tiffany Themed Invites!



DEDICATED TO ALL OF THE DIY BRIDES! THE WORDS OF KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM....
OUR WEDDING BUDGET WAS: $2,000 for 80 guests!
I was so pursistant to DIM (Doing It Myself) wedding a couple of years back. I so enjoyed putting our theme wedding together. Do you know that we still get comments on these? Yes! Just yesterday, my long distant friend called me to say that she has this displayed in her curio cabinet like me and was highly talking about how pretty it still is!

I actually purchased them from Michael's at the time and DIM.

It was so hard to find a Tiffany colored invites that I truly liked, so I cheated and bought this type of kit of silver and gray. Let's kick it up a notch? LOL Let call this Platinum and bling? HAA!

Anyways, if you want to cheat, these were really nice especially when you can use your 40% off coupons there! We had a total of 50 invites for $24.99!
WARNING, WARNING!!!!
It will take a lot of patience when doing this project! Sometimes they wouldn't line up right, but you would have to tape them to the top to an 8X11 sheet of paper and feed it through that way. Wow, the memories of our wedding was fabulous.
Another WARNING, WARNING!!!
Post office blues: They charge you extra for postage on hard items in envelopes. Since the buckles are hard, they can't run it through the machine as regular mail, so they charge you extra! Beware of the shocker when mailing, because we calculated how much it was to be shipped out and having a blow of extra additional stamps was ugly! YIKES!!!!
Our invite is framed in our livingroom inside a large photo frame with me and hubby, standing side by side from the wedding.

Amazing! Very rich looking.

Question, what about for the brides that aren't so crafty?  I know I have 10 thumbs. LOL  Plus I just don't have the time!  I'd rather have someone else do it.
