Ask a Question
Does he snore? How do you cope with it?

There has been many many nights of my hunny snoring. It"s nerve racking, but I love him so. We've tried nasal strips, nose drops, turning over, jerking, kicking...you name it.

The first thing he says in the morning is: "I'm so tired and I'm not rested!" THE NERVE!

How do you cope with this?

if he's that exhausted after he's slept all night, he may want to look into going to sleep clinic. He may be suffering from sleep apnea which can be a huge problem if it isn't dealt with. Chris snores sometimes, but I know I do too. I have really severe insomnia so sometimes it does keep me awake, but if I'm tired enough, I'll usually pop a couple of unisom and hope that I don't have to wake up too early.

I started taking benadryl to knock myself out so he doesn't keep me awake. There have been nights I've flipped my pillow to the foot of the bed to at least stop him from rolling and snoring in my ear. My great aunt has major hearing problems in her one ear from my great uncle snoring in it loudly for 45 years before he passed away. God Bless my poor aunt. She told me the first night she got to sleep peacefull through the entire night was the night of the day he died. yikes. lol.

I just knock him around a little and beat him up a bit if I have to lol...usually after shaking him 2 or 3 times then he turns over to a different position, and that usually seems to help.  I think he only does it when he's on his back so if I shake him and tell him he's snoring then he'll usually turn over on his side or his stomach, and then it seems to stop or at least gets quite enough that I can still fall asleep!!  I agree with sapphire though cause if he's still complaining about not being well rested then he might want to get checked out for sleep apnea or any other type of sleeping disorder.

I sleep with earplugs LOL.
I get mine from www.earplugsuperstore.com
I've tried many different kinds, the best fit for my ears are the "Sparkplugs" from Nascar (*rolls eyes*).
