Completed More Bling 2 R Table Names
See the B4 and after shots of R Table Names!
I think I am completely done with frames on our reception tables! I wanted a little twist and bling to these frames. Since it's Tiffany themed, and of course you guys know me by now "The Budget Queen", found these extrodinary frames from the $1.00 store...Wholla! Picture #1 is the large picture seen Picture # 2 is the before effect, plain... Look at picture # 3, 4, 5 I've even added irridescent glitter inside for the color effect of paper bling in different shots. All others are the completed ones! I think we have about six frames on each table now, with pictures, poems, etc. |

Before & After Bling!
Our Entrance Photo Before & After Bling
The frame was purchased a while back from Michaels 50% off sale on frames. Is large at 20 x 18.
Well, hubby 2 B was telling me that our signature frame is wasn't enough room for our guests to write best wishes, so they'll be signing our Silver Platter instead. I added some bling to the frame with my best friend the glue gun and rhinestones, silver roses and left over bling. Our pictures were taken 9 years ago and last month, which will be placed at the front entrance. Amazing how you change in 10 years! Picture 2 is the before shot... |

Are You Having A Toss?
FEATHERS? What are you having them toss to you?
I have seen it all now!
SOMETHING DIFFERENT: I was looking at "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway" and I like this idea. Instead of Silly String, Bird Seed, Bubbles, Sparklers, Confetti...why not Feathers? It looked pretty when they tossed beautiful magenta and lime green color of feathers. Just an idea to toss to you ladies! The only thing I don't like is that it might create a good mess! :O( What are you having tossed at you? What do you think about Feathers? |

I am Reposting what I deleted
I'm glad what I did yesterday!
I'm waking up with this on my mind...It is wedding related! Any haters or disrespectful ones (not members) can just go to the next brides page. If you leave any disrespectful comments, you'll be easily deleled. I posted late last night that "Congratulations To Obama, and Condolences to his grandmother!" I was asked to have my expression removed by a fellow bride to be and I did it. Yes, I was not going to get political on this site during the voting process and now that it was over at 8:23 last night, me along with other proud brides expressed our true feelings of what took place in history. I'm excited that history has taken place! I posted that I was so proud of how the voting turn out and I voted for Obama, with my picture up an everything. Apparently someone asked a fellow bride member to remove hers, but this is history! We're happy and proud of what taken place after last evening. With Obama as president and this is wedding related, because the economy is so darn bad right now, that's it's going to get better after he cleans up this mess, which means us Brides will be able to have the wedding that we worked so hard for and will be able to afford homes and keep our homes. I'm not removing this blog . Not unless aurthorized for removal from the President of WBC. This is wedding related...We are all in this together ladies. Maybe the fellow bride 2 b's blog was offensive? Maybe she was voting for the other opponent? We don't know, but who cares? OBAMA won! It's time for change! I am the only African American that owns a home in the vacinity of my area. Yes, home owner thank you! Struggling to keep it... And after the results of Obama winning, a couple of our neighbors came by and congratulated us last night on the winning! They voted for Mccain like others, but me the only one with Obama in my yard, my neighbors hugged me and hubby and said, "Wow...it's time for change!" That's real respect...even though we have our own issues and beliefs this is beautiful! |

Idea about your wedding keepsake cake!
What are you doing with your top cake?
If you are keeping it, here's a fabulous idea! I was watching "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway" and during a commerical, they mentioned about cutting your keepsake cake into 12 parts, ziplock two bags for extra freshness, then you and your hubby can eat a piece every month romantically for the year!
![]() LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE I love this Idea, that way you won't have that horrible freezer burn next year. What are you planning on doing with your top cake? Enjoy! |

GREAT IDEA!
Sign Our Platter!
I was watching "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway" and fell in love with this idea. I like doing different things and this is wonderful. Since we are having a Tiffany Wedding Theme, why not have the guests sign our silver platter with a permanent ink marker? I love this idea! This way, it can be passed around easily if needed. Plus it will be a beautiful decor at the home inside a curio cabinet.
We'll still have our pictures displayed at the entrance of the venue. (P.S. I found this platter at the Goodwill for $6.00!) What do you think about a platter, instead of picture signing? UPDATED: I blinged up platter with our initial of rhinestones on 11/27/08 blog. |

Ask a Question
Do You Think It's Appropriate For Guests To Pay?
Guests coming to your wedding reception, do you think it's fair for them to pay for their parking? I was watching "Who's wedding is it anyway?" and this couple was paying for a $120,000 wedding and got the shocking news that parking was $15.00/per car! The lady was really upset and didn't like and that they were charging for parking too.
So, is your venue covered? Should this be typed on your invitation about parking fees? Do you think you should pay for your guests parking? Thank goodness or venue has FREE parking... |

What Are You Putting In Your Favor Boxes?
These boxes are 2 x 2 x 2...
I've had these boxes for about 6 months now and came up with... putting green stripped and white Life Savor mints inside of them. What are you putting in your favor boxes? |
