Candy Buffet Pictures, Part 11
![]() This was faboulous too! At first I was against it, because of the 25 kids that were invited, but it was wonderful. It was so exciting to see them and the adults go crazy over this. SUGGESTION: THEY LOVE WHITE CHOCOLATE AND CHOCOLATE! The sours did well, but the chocolate was the one to go first! Hershey's Cookies n Creame was their favorites, then the Hershey's kisses and nuggets! Not much of hard candy fans...So CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE! BUY CHOCOLATE! Part 12 blog above: DANCING! |

The Gift Card Box Table, Part 10
![]() To place an order, email to: partyshakers@yahoo.com OMG...THIS IS A MUST HAVE!! This was a debate about cash only, no gifts and no registry. We didn't insert it into the invitations, but they did call and asked what we wanted. Since we already had everything and we are celebrating the 10th Anniversary, gift cards or money was the request. It was automatic that the guests knew what it was and they kept putting envelopes in and dropping money and checks into the slot! Whooooowhooo, Jackpot! I've heard so many compliments on the DIY gift box that I made. It was sparkling from across the room. Bling!!!! This is so convienant for cards, or gift cards won't be lost. When we opened it up the next day, there they were...Envelopes stacked neatly with money through out. This is a must have!! We still got a few bulky gifts like pots, pans, a big comforter and robes. Girls please make one, or buy one! You'll be thankful later. Part 11 blog above: THE CANDY BUFFET! |

Coffee & Tea Station, Punch Fountain Pictures Part 9
![]() This was the hit of the evening! We had Verona coffee from Starbucks and every tea you could imagine. Jasmine, Grean, Strawberry, Orange, Citrus, Earl Grey and many more! Also every sugar from Raw, rock candy, sweet-n-low, equal, splenda. My Ritz Carlton flavor of an aunt Donna and grandmother said that I had every corner at the reception taken care of. She and others couldn't get over the Coffee and Tea Station. IT WAS A HIT! It also helped others who were at the bar that night. Help them sober up a bit before leaving. Everyone was satisfied with it. There was a debate about using rented fountains or use our own plastic fountains. Being on that tight budget, the plastic fountains worked perfectly. I really didn't get that many pictures of them, but it was nice having two going on at the same time. The punch was on point and a huge hit. You can rent the classy silver ones, but if you buy the plastic ones you will definitely use them again. Mines cost $29.99 and $25.00 at Fry's and D D's discount stores. Our Gorgeously Romantic Cake, Part 8
![]() We've been communicating by phone for months and 110 miles apart. Ohhh my Goodness! Nothing can express how delicious this cake is and was! {Lemon Mousse and Buttercreame} I sware, I have never tasted an excellent cake like this cake from Gala Bakery. For the past 10 years they have been our favorite and no other bakery has topped this one from San Lorenzo, CA! There was a little drama about it being bumped around in the van, but Andrea the cake decorator and delivery girl did wonders! She informed me of the damage and when she fixed it, it was perfect!! Right from the van operating table! She even added my decorations to it at the venue, so it turned out PERFECT!!! My DIY cake platform was on point! Everyone thought it was lovely under that cake. During our cake announcement, hubby disappeared as you see in the first picture named: "Me puzzled!" Suddenly I heard the song come on "It's Our Anniversary" by Tony, Toni, Tone (his road dawgs while on tour)...It was perfect! Rod again was in charge of this selection, I had no idea. When he approach me at our cake, we started to slow dance a bit (romantic first dance) then we started to cut the cake as the rest of the song played. We did not want to cut it, because it was so beautiful and this was like the last major event of the evening, besides the dancing! There was no cake smashing and we kept it very elegant! We didn't rehearse that either. I love that. Woooowhooo! Hands up to: Gala Bakery, 18070 Hesperian Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA 510-278-8004 Galabakery.comThanks Andrea! The Food Buffet, the Food!! Part 7
![]() First, I have been getting questions on the buffet skirts that I ordered from C.O.D. Wholesale and they were FABOULOUS! I don't have a full picture close up from it, but it looked good. See the background pictures above. Better than paying $23.00 or more for cloths. I think they were about $3.99 each, perfect! I just want to share with you, if you are having a guest book signing for your guest, this is the way to go! THEY LOVED IT!! Our family and friends couldn't wait to sign this. First, it was at the entrance with a few signatures, because when people arrived, they saw the Tiffany Theme decor and that totally distracted their attention from the "Sign The Platter" table to the inside banquet area. When this was brought inside, people could not believe this idea. They thought it was fabulous and very elegant. Rodrick and I LOVE this idea to have forever displayed in our curio cabinet with a few diamond paperweights surrounding it. Our guests are still talking about this! GO FOR THE PLATTER!! We were both in tears as we read it the other day. Very touching....This is so pretty that you would want to display this in your livingroom. Why stuff a guest book in a box or in the closet?Ok, hubby and I did the mini catering (I would say). Only thing I have to say about this is...YOU CAN NOT PLEASE EVERYONE! I heard a few complaints about it being to bland, but these are by 2 of my closest girls Sheila and Stacy. Part 8 blog above: THE CAKE! |

Crystal Bouquet & Bouquet Toss, Part 7
![]() Ohhhh, how much I loved my Istal Bouquet! I call it that because I made it myself and it was so reasonable, but beautiful. I had so many comments on it at the wedding it was unreal. After saying our vows, I made the announcement that this special bouquet was going to Loyce. If it wasn't for her, Rod and I would of never gotten married or would of been celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary. She was a little teary eyed, but excepted it with open arms. She is now 83 years old and we just wanted to make sure she's appreciated!"We love you and thank you Loyce!" This was so exciting. My sister in law Elease caught the silk bouquet. She had a drink in one hand, jumped so high that she karate kicked another guest just to retrieve it. It was funny, because we've been teasing Elease for years to get married. She says, NO! We shall see now? Part 7 blog above: THE FOOD!! |

Our Romantic Sweetheart Table Part 5
![]() For those who are debating about having sweetheart table, DO IT!! It was very romantic and it really set the tone for us. It was private and of coarse the talk of the evening! Thanks to my friend Stacy at Pinknailsandfairytales, they provided me with this beautiful piece. My husband was shocked and didn't expect such beauty! At first he thought that Stacy gave it to us and was really excited, but I said it was only for the evening. He was in aughhh for sure. He mentioned that this was the top of the evening, having a secluded table for us only. Even though the evening was quite busy, we only enjoyed it for about 10 minutes seriously!
