Another Guest Book Idea

Alright, photo guest book with Fuji is a great idea if you have the following:
1. Someone reliable to take the photos of guest as they enter
2. Replace photos when they run out
3. Make sure camera is used properly

Since I didn't have anyone do that....Here's my idea #3 (not really mine-I found it online)

So here's what I am considering
1. Calendar Guest book @ reception people would sign different months of the calendar or a calendar wall and then you can remember your guests all year long

2. My fiancé is a fan of a traditional guestbook...but I want something unique...maybe we can compromise with a guestbook of photos and on the opposite page of the photo will be space for guests to sign. We could have this at the church and then bring to reception for those who didn't get a chance to sign.

Sigh...back to the drawing board...

I know how you feel. My FH wanted the Fuji/Polaroid type guest book and I had a hard time convincing him that no one is going to want to stand around and take the pictures as the guests are trickling in. I also usually hate how I look in pics so I wouldn't want to be remembered by a goofy pic of me.

It's kind of expensive, but what about a photobooth? I think there is someone there that manages it and you'll have some great pictures of your guests. You can get a book where they can put one of their photobooth pictures in and sign the page. We ended up doing a wish jar, which worked out ok, but not everyone signed the card so we really didn't have a good record of everyone who attended aside from our photog's pictures, so I understand where you fiance is coming from where that is concerned. I really like your calendar idea too!

@sbbride-a photobooth was our first thought but the price wasn't in our budget :(

We're doing the "sign the picture frame" idea. We'll put a pic from the engagement shoot and all of our guests will sign the matting around the picture. That way we can hang it up on our wall and get to see it all of the time.

I was thinking of making a photo book of pictures of us, engagement pictures and pics from throughout our relationship and everything, and just having people sign that where ever they want to. Then we can use it as a coffee table book or something.
I do like the calendar idea, I think thats cute.
