I wasn't feeling my other color scheme, I am a very bright colorful girl and my fh is not. He is very plain and he has said since getting engaged no pink as he thought the whole wedding would be pink. So I picked colors I thought were still summery but that a bloke would like to but the more I was thinking about the colors the less I was liking them and It just wasnt me I needed the pink. SO I asked well begged the other half and he has now let me have pink. I am soo happy I can now envisgae a pretty wedding fit for a princess. So colors are now green and pink and yes still alittle blue to keep him happy :)

I am sooo annoyed with this bliming website everytime you post it erases the text!!

Here I go again

I went to the florists at the weekend to discuss my wedding flowers and to arraonge a quote. I left feeling really excited the lady was really inspiring she took my ideas and tarted them up a bit and now I cant wait to see them. I am having corsages for bridesmaids, petals in heart wire bags fro flowergirls and corsages for the mothers. I am not sure what my boquet will be yet but she had a few ideas and they sounded really nice.
The flowers will be gerberas bright pink ones maybe light aswell. The centerpieces are stunning just gerberas in a glass bowl filled with limes cut in half. Perfect for my colors of pink ang green.

The fh does not know any of my flower plans as he will probably freak at the thought of bright pink but he will like them on the day he prob wont notice that much as he will be wrapped up in the wedding experience I hope.

Im not trying on any dresses till the end of the year beginning of next as I want to loose weight before so I can really get a feel of what the dresses will look like on.
Here are a few that i like the look of. Im not deciding on a style yet till I have tried them all on lol.

I found theese alternative wedding cakes made with cheesecake. I dont like fruit cake or icing so something different is needed. I just keep drooling when I see theese pics lol. We are both cheesecake fanatics.

Im sooo happy as h2b has agreed that we can have pink instead of brown for our colors. Thats going to make things so much easier, such as a bigger range of flowers and pinks pretty anyway.

Been phoning around hotels that I may hold my reception at, I had about 5 on my list and I only have one appointment. One lady was on holiday and all the others were busy and I was told I would get a call back. This is much harder than I thought it would be!!
It would help if I wasn't such an indecisive person!! Oh well.
My mum had an idea of getting married in our town then hiring a few carriages on the steam train to take us over the water to Dartmouth to maybe a hotel on the river. Dunno about that sounds nice. Also there was an idea of getting married in the local Caves (tourist attraction) but they dont do weddings mid season which is understandable.
I wish we had nicer places around here.

I went out to a friends jeweller and it was the second ring I tried on. But to make sure I tried on lots and lots of different designs and different jewellers but I came back to the second one I tried and I love it. Its not what my Fiance would have picked but he still likes it. It is a rare green sapphire diamond cluster. Gorgeous.

Well I have chosen Green a spring green I wanted it with pink but the other half does not want pink as little as possible but he does want blue. So I have said if I incoporate blue then he is not to wear it he must wear green or ivory/cream cause we will clash. I am just adding little bits of blue a little hint of it. Oh just had a thought whilst writing this post maybe brown and green. well I am a Virgo, Earth sign.

I really don't know what to choose, Church or Civil. I really like the idea of the Church with the bells, I was brought up involved in the Church but since being a teenager obviously views have changed slightly. So I dunno would it be wrong to marry in a church if you are not 100% sure about God?
I know there are many registered venues to marry in outside the church but they just don't compare to the idea of church wedding.

I'm braver than people give me credit for. I proposed. 29th of February the one day the women can traditionally ask the men. We have a long distance relationship and he was coming down to visit on that fateful day lol. I cooked him a meal and decorated the table. Flowers and hearts. He walked in the door and saw the table and I dont think he really wanted to come in any further. After dinner I gave him a ring box with a Haribo gummy ring. I didnt actually say the words but he understood. Well I thought he did. All weekend comments were made which confused us both and by the end of the weekend I was not sure what was going on wether we were engaged or not. Well on his way home he text me to say he was happy about it and cant wait to marry me. Woo.
