My DIY favor idea

FH and love "lucky" bamboo and I found a website that does them as favors. I figure I can recreate the look myself and do them for 1/2 the cost. I created a tag and I found the mini pots at the Christmas Tree store for 33 cents!

I just have to decide which pot. They have the one in the original picture but they also have another one that is heaver and looks like bamboo etched into it (see picture). I'll be putting orange glass rocks inside with the tag that I made.

Which "pot" do you like? Also which color ribbon (to tie the tag on)? I like raffia but it doesn't really go?! Should I just use orange or fuchsia?

Super cute!!  LOVE the idea.  I think if you're using orange rocks, I'd use fuchsia ribbon, but it depends on what else is going on your table, and if you're using fuchsia and orange equally, or if one is dominant and the other is an accent.

LOVE the idea!  I like both pots..the 1st one is cute because it looks like a flower pot, but the etched one is nice and maybe be more appropriate if your wedding is more formal.  I agree with trombonechick on the ribbon, go fuchsia, unless orange is your more dominate color.   Very clever favor, have fun with it!
