Wedding Reception
HEARTBROKEN! So SAD

The reception hall I had my heart set on is now going to be closed for restoration from May-Sept. They had the audacity to ask me if I was willing to change the date of my event!!

I have another place in mind..but I want it to be my last resort. It will take a lot of sprucing up to make it the way I want. And the ballroom my heart was set on didn't need too much help. It was great! Floor to ceiling windows..a great view all for $1700

I'm still going to have my sister prepare the food if the hall I find allows it.

my last resort is also $1700 but I dont think that its worth it if I have to try and transform the room.. time is ticking..and I'm getting no where FAST!

**the first 2 photos are my first choice, one showing the room without the tables and the 2nd with all the trimmings! Isn't it beautiful!! :(

**the last photo is my last resort...see how depressing that is..its gonna take a lot to turn it into what I want

I feel for you.

The barn/property where I was going to have my entire wedding is now out of the question for me.

The family that owns it has a family member that just got diagnosed with severe brain cancer/tumours.

It's so sad.

I'm so sorry! I know how you feel because the place I had originally planned my wedding didn't work out and I was forced to find another place quickly. It will all work out! I think your second choice is still very nice! Try to stay positive, your wedding will still be beautiful!

The first option is very nice but the second option isn't as bad as your making it in your head. It seems a whole lot worse b/c you had your heart set on the first option. Stay positive you can pull it off. Just think I'm trying to stay positive that there will be no rain on my wedding date b/c I'm having a beach wedding in about 25 days.
