Hi ladies!! I just wanted to say hello to all of you!
No, not preggo lol I know you probably thought thats what I was stopping by to announce haha. We plan on waiting until the beginning of next year to start "the process" lol. We've moved into our new house and i've been concentrating on getting it together. From a one bedroom to a 3..takes a lot of interior decorating lol. I can't believe I went from watching wedding shows...to now constantly watchint the DIY network for ideas on home to decorate our new home haha I even wanted to incorporate our wedding colors into our home but the hubby wont let me :( lol Anywho..if you haven't check them out already..I posted the link to our wedding photos(the professional ones) in a previous post on June 29th. The day went by sooo fast. It seemed like a dream!! It was about 90 degrees sweat was pouring down my legs. OMG you guys..i did the ugly cry as I walked down the aisle. lol lol all the pics were hideous lol
The mic went out before we even got to say our vows..so only a few people could hear us. i was soo nervous..everyone said they could see my bouquet shaking. The reception hall only allowed us an hour and a half to set up friday..and then only an hour the day of. thankfully..my older sisters took control of the rest of the setting up. They wouldn't open the windows..150+ people in the room and only ONE fan. Sweat poured down my face as we walked around to thank people for coming. Since we were short on time..we had to do all of the dances in lightening speed. Everyone didn't start dancing until 7:45..we were suppose to be out of the building by 8. *shaking my head* Just as fast the party started..it was over. The only regret I have is not having a bigger reception place..and enough time to mingle and to sit and take it all in. Overall..it was a GREAT day..despite the hot weather. I'll be back soon with more pictures and honeymoon info. I just got back in a 4pm today.. Talk to you soon!! :) |

SIGNING OFF!!!!
OMG you guys!! The time has come....yes its finally here!!
i'm a nervous wreck! Sooo many things to do! We have another rehearsal today..the flowers were SUPPOSE to arrive from fiftyflowers.com yesterday..lets hope and pray they come today! The weather is soo unstable. Its suppose to rain tonite into 2moro.. and they said most likey saturday morning..and the rest of the day it will be overcast and muggy. Quite a change from what they said earlier this week. They said it was suppose to be 77 and partly cloudy. *sigh* The reception hall is now trying to go back on their word and not let us setup the night before..they now want to only allow us 2 HOURS before our scheduled time (12pm-2pm) to set up. The wedding starts at 2:30..*shaking my head* Anywho..I just want to take this time to thank all of you lovely ladies for all of your help and your input. This has been a wild ride..and I couldn't have done it without you ladies. Thank you for giving me a virtual shoulder to cry on lol and for being my BFF's even though we never met. I promise to come back with lots and lots of pictures..don't forget about it..it will be awhile..I come back from my honeymoon June 12th. Take care everyone and I will miss all you my short time away. I love you guys!!! I really do...thanks thanks soo much xoxoxo - Shan |

Soo many people showed up and I felt so loved!!
One of my bridesmaids brought me a veil, bachelorette pimp cup and a juicy couture necklace!! The FH had a nice turn out of friends too! I'm glad I invited him to join me!! About 15 friends showed up for him..and that made me happy! Sheesh..I can't count how many people helped me celebrate..the one pic. that I took with all the girls didn't even include EVERYONE..i had a blast!! Only 1 week until i'm a Mrs.!!! Whoo hooo! Lots to do this upcoming week! |
