Help!

Does anyone know the cheapest way to make these kissing balls? I was looking around at michaels yesterday and the styrofoam balls were kinda expensive and then I figure the flowers will be expensive unless I can get them in a bunch instead of individual prices. I would like to make 10 for the ends of each chair for the ceremony. My plan is to do a black ribbon at the top with fuschia flowers and the crystals. so if anyone knows any sites or where I can find some good deals please let me know. Maybe I am just be unrealistic and will have to pay those prices. all of our tables will have black linens so I was thinking for our high standing tables to do fuschia.

I've seen people make them out of tissue paper. You can google DIY Pomanders and some instructions should come up!

have you checked out the dollar tree?  they have sytromfoam balls for cheap and sometimes their flowers don't look bad.   Oldhollywood bride has made hers out of crepe papers (which I plan on doing just need to get my butt in gear).  BUT the tissue paper ones are easier and can be done faster...here is the link for the tissue:

OR check out oldhollywoodbride for the crepe paper ones.

I made my pomanders out of tulle that I bought at the dollar store. I used 2 rolls per ball. I ordered my styrofoam balls from ebay. I made 12 balls for about $45 dollars...my florist charged that for one ball made of flowers. I have a picture of my pomanders on my page. I'm going to add a little bling before I use them...I just don't want them to fall off before the wedding.

Be sure to buy white foam or it will take forever to cover up all of the green if you use the green foam.

treasurechest is right the DollarTree has balls and you can go to like HobbyLobby when they have that monthly 50% off sale and rack up on flowers. It is best to buy flowers that are in bushes instead of individually, like a large bush of red roses may cost $16 but you can get about 4 balls off one bush....we're on the same mission

Since we dont have HobbyLobby(wish we did) do you think joann's or Michael's  would be priced the same for the flowers? I will def. have to check out the dollar tree!
