Ok Ladies! My FH and I have officially started being prepared for the sacrament of marriage through Mother Church! I am SO excited! Justin and I had to take a Pre Marriage Inventory test that we took separately. Then the computer compares our results to see how much we agree on certain topics like, gender roles, raising children, finances, etc. We had a minimum of 82% agreement in EVERY category! I knew we would score high just because we talk about everything and make it a priority to understand the opposite sex, but the priest was very impressed! He gave us a little counseling/ advice and then filled out paper work to say that he thinks we are good to be married :)
We both still need to become parishioners at a church together and then get permission from that pastor, but I'm still so happy! In two weeks FH and i will go on a retreat together! We've never done some thing exclusively for the two of us, alone! Its going to be SO nice! we can just relax and work on our spirituality together instead of trying to squeeze in time during the busy school/work week :)
I've also started making my Christmas list! There are lots of handmade decorations I'd like to order off etsy so i thought i would tag them all and then post the list on facebook or somewhere where friends and family can see it! That way, they can contribute to the wedding, buy me a Christmas gift, and get me some thing ill actually use/want for the wedding!
