Decisions made! Friday madness
I need your help/opinions on #3!!

So much happened yesterday! Wow so let's start with financial aid. Hubby and I shouldn't have to take out any loans which is good. The university said we could do a payment plan so he's not having to front all the money in two weeks but rather spreading out the $14000 into 5 payments. and I think I'm going to take up a second job next semester. One in the mornings and one at night. One to pay for school, and the other to pay for my wedding! haha.

Secondly, I caved. I went and saw twilight... Even worse? I cried like a baby. Not because I love Bella and Edward, but because when she was walking down the aisle, all i could think about was myself walking down the aisle toward Justin. Also, i thought they filmed the honeymoon in a very respectful way. Also [if you're not familiar with the books] Edward decides they shouldn't have sex anymore until Bella becomes a vampire [whatever]. SO there is a montage of them doing innocent things like swimming playing chess, etc. I just had to laugh and find this endearing because a part of my honeymoon will most likely have to be spent like that on account of my period.

#3 ok...Thirdly, with all this financial mess of my parents trying to give all they can for my school and the wedding, I have decided to let a family member do the videography for our wedding. My aunt does videography as a side job so she has some experience. She wants to eventually do it full time so she is trying to build up a portfolio or whatever. The reason i agreed to being a guinea pig is because she said i could rule the editing process which means picking which scenes go where, music, etc. and a lot of companies i looked at didnt give me that option. However, i'm a little nervous now! I mean, my aunt has given me no reason to be nervous, but like.. this is my wedding video! Should i call in a professional too, that way there are two cameras and she can incorporate their footage into her final vid for me? should i ask her what she thinks? what did you guys do for figuring this out?

#4... on a happier, more relaxing note... my university had a charity ball last night [that is what the picture to the left is from :) ] They had a live band, food and drinks! It gave FH and i a chance to practice dancing too :) I feed the homeless every thursday and i actually have a lot of homeless friends now :) so my friend emily and i picked them up from the streets of pittsburgh, had them all dressed up and brought them to the ball with us since the proceeds will go toward feeding them for the rest of the year! it was wonderful :)

Try not to get the loan.  Not good to go into debt for your wedding. It's the best way from my point of view because we had 3 weddings already and did it right. We did it for the first time as affordable to out budget. No borrowing, loans or help from family members.  We had another weddding 5 years later to celebrate our special bond of love with a more classier setting with more guest. The 3rd wedding was more for me and what I really wanted. The wedding in 2014 is what he always wanted to where it is more afordable than it was 12 years ago. Over the years we grew, we have used all that saved expenses and bought a house and very happy.

Haven't seen Twilight yet...

I think it's great to have your family help with the videography. Everywhere to help you two would be accepted and awesome. Now if you want to really splurge on a professional one, that is fine too.

I think it's awesome that you have helped out with your community with the homeless.  The ball for them would be like a Cinderella type of story for anyone in that situation.  That is awesome!
