I've been really on the fence about getting a veil even though I do love the look of a birdcage and I know I can pull them off pretty well, but I decided to go ahead and get one. I'm pretty sure I'll have my hair up, and I know I definitely want some kind of flower/fascinator/clip in my hair anyway, so I might as well wear the veil for the ceremony- I can always take it off for the reception.

Anyway, I while ago I had bookmarked a site that vintagebabe had mentioned on her page and ordered it from there (Events and Occasions)- cost me all of $20 for the veil & shipping! I really hope it's good quality but if it isn't, oh well, whatever- it was $20. I got the 9 inch classic style in ivory.

This is sorta crazy- aren't you supposed to buy the veil AFTER you've bought your dress? I don't even have a dress yet!

I got my veil first too. I also wore the 9 in classic.... but mine was white... and I took the veil the made me... I wanted it slightly different.... so I took hers apart and resewed it to my liking. But at least the netting was super cheap.

WOW, great price!! Now you need to get your dress! I didn't end up going to Sussman's on Saturday, i'm gonna wait till my hair brooches arrive to add one of them to the veil/fascinator. Do you remember when i got my dress and they sent me that ugly tiara (long time ago)? Well i'm still waiting for them to send me my hair brooches!!! It's taking forever!!! It's backordered. Very annoying!
