Bird Themes anyone?
I've had such a hard time trying to find pictures of bird themed weddings. I love that irishpochahontas has been throwing peacock weddings my way left, right and center & they've been a huge help, but I don't want my wedding to be totally peacock. After all, the cake we're having has song birds on it, there's a pheasant in the toile design we used for the invitations & stationery & our centerpieces are being made with pheasant & peacock sword feathers.

I'd like to try and stay away from doves, but I'd really love to find some more wedding stuff with swallows/swifts/house martins on it, robins, songbirds/finches, & waterfowl on it. any help?

I found some of this stuff last night when I was searching for hours. Hope it helps some others out there!

I'm gonna email my mother for you... she's a huge bird fan.. great at decorating.. she's a member of the audobon society.. not sure if i spelled that right.. but she would know.. I'll come back to this post later....

I LOVE this! I am a bird fanatic! I have a pet bird and everyone KNOWS I love birds! Let me know how things turn out for you! I love the chickadee pendant!

my mother said to decorate with branches in large painted pots.. and get "birds" from michaels or the dollar store and place them around as if they are perched in the branches. She also said something about using small feathers as confetti around centerpeices. Birds on the cake. Birds in the centerpeices. Use a bird cage for your cardbox. That's all she came up with lol. I was expecting more. lol Your theme is so unique! I love it!
