Reception games

So I haven't been to very many weddings but I went to one recently where they had littles games during the reception. Ones to decide which tables went up first for dinner and a couple to do with the bride and groom (asking them questions and having them copy peoples kisses). Is this something most people do? I'm not a huge on games and I know your wedding is supposed to be whatever you want it to be but I don't want it to be boring either. Help!

we didn't have time for games...we just ate, drank, and danced lol!

I made a beautiful "kissing tree" for our reception,  (check my posts) When people clinked glasses or used the bells on the tables they were to come up a pull off one of the tags and read a small poem...then we would kiss.

Unfortunately the tree was not set-up by coordinator and was standing looking silly beside our cake table.  I wish we could have done this.

we did do this shoe game but it was a surprise by our MC and it was AWESOME!!!!!! Ha ha so funny!!!!!

and from hearing people now we did really well only had two wrong and one was a trick question......so i'm very proud of us!
