so I went to bridal shop to "pick up" my dress. Little did I know that I wasnt picking up the dress. She still had to steam it. And Im not picking it up till next Friday... THE day before the wedding. CRAZY. But I guess its better off in her hands anyways. So I wanted to pay her for the alterations.. it was only $81~ She took it in on both sides and bustled it... she is really really good AND reasonably priced. is anyone else waiting that long to pick up their dress?

ok so here it is. My FH has a child and a step child from his ex. Last weekend there was an incident between him and hiis step child.. she was being a pretty big brat and going on and on... he took her chin and held it in his hands and told her to cut it out. NOW the minute that she went home the next day she told her mother and her mother called up my FH saying that there were bruises on her face and that she was calling the cops.SO last Tuesday sure enough there was a cps case worker that came and investigated my FH. He asked lots of questions and wanted to interview me. So the nest day he did... and there were SOOOOOOO many lies that we found out about. His ex is making the kids LIE. She is targeting our jobs.. she had them say that I am abusive and my Fh is a truck driver... so she had her daughter say that he drinks and drives ( he would NEVER in a million years do that) So yesterday he got court papers in the mail. SHE is taking him to court on the 30th. SO we have to get a lawyer... a freaking LAWYER. I cant believe this.. he has had custody of his son for 3 years... he is an amazing dad and she is trying to take that away from him. not to mention that his son admitted to him last night that she told him to lie and if he did she would buy him a toy. This poor little 6 year old boy. Oh yeah.. and 2 days b4 the wedding we have a meeting with the family and CPS... can it get any worse????? ok ladies.. any advise would be good..and thanks for letting me vent.

So I made my card box today. I did it all with stuff that I had laying around the house. All I did was take 2 boxes and wrap them with white paper. I cut the bottom of the top box off and put a hole in the top of the bottom box for the top box.Then I had an extra white pillow case. I hot glued it. and added some flowers.. and here you have it!

So my invites have been out since the beginning of this month.. they are due back friday.. and I am missing like 40! It kinda makes me mad because I put postage on them and so many people are like "I lost it" or "im coming, I just forget to send the response in" HELLO how much easier can I make it???? Anyways on a happy note my wedding is in 30 days! thats only 4 weeks!!!!!!

I had my bridal shower on saturday. It was great. I have so many wonderful friends and family. I ended up getting a pretty nice chunk of money. I also received my toasting glasses, my knife and serving knife, and lots of other things. My toasting glasses have a nice story behind it. My friend actually bought them at the salvation army (while I was with her.. I had no idea) and it was also half off day. Then she had them engraved with our names and the date. But the best part was she had one of my favorite sayings on it "you complete me" but she had it put on in Hebrew (my FH is Jewish) It was awesome.

My Bachelorette party was also that night. It was SO much fun to get together and relax with all of my friends. I will put a few pictures on...most can not leave the computer!

Hey girls. I am having a very casual wedding and I need some ideas for appetizers . So far I have a cheese and entertainment crackers, and pumpernickel and rye bread with dip. I dont know what other things I should have. I dont want chips or dips. I want something a little nicer than that. Any Ideas would be great! and dont forget to add a recipe! Thanks girls

So I sent out my invitations on Monday morning and was really excited. Today when I went to get my mail there sat my invitations... They ALL got sent back. I guess I need to put another .20 stamp on them all. Oh well .. whats another $20 on stamps. :-)

So I went to the dollar tree today to look at some of their fake flowers. Well I spent a total of $15. And this is how they came out. The vase to the left has the mini brides in it too. I cant believe how cute they came out! I am SO excited. I am going to be putting an ivory ribbon around them too.. but just wanted to show everyone.

I am very excited about my gifts to my bridesmaids. I got bags that are yellow (my color) and I brought them to someone that my friend knows. And he had their names put on them. The bags ended up being about $11 all together.(amazon had them really cheap).I filled them with A beach towel, a Tin canister, hand soap, a pair of flip flops and a hear shaped can opener. I think they are going to love them! I sure do. I also had to make one for myself too!

I was wonder what you guys think. I wearing a strapless dress and I have a fairly large tattoo in my shoulder (I had another flower added to the tattoo of picture that I posted). Its a pretty tattoo (flowers and dragon flies) But I was wondering if I should cover it. If so do you recommend any brands.. because the cover ups that I have seen have all rubbed off and you can still see the tattoo a little bit and I think that looks cheap and cheesy. So what do you guys think.. cover up or no cover up .
