I get such an awesome sense of pride whenever a DIY goes right and this was no exception!
Step 1: I designed the labels in my Mac's shareware version of Word and printed on regular computer paper
Step 2: Cut out each label using a ruler and exacto knife
Step 3: Cover each label in packing tape and trim
Step 4: Rip off old label and affix new label using a small piece of tape
I have completed 7 so far and need 40 in total. These are going into our Out of Town bags for all our guests staying at the hotel. Time to get working!
Thanks! Keep up the great work!
jacobus10102010: i just emailed you my file but again, it might not work. let me know if you need help creating your own!
dreamingofpurple: i tested the waterproof-ness by putting one of the bottles in the fridge for awhile. i took it out and let it "sweat" but it didn't affect the label. so i would say they are pretty waterproof. i suppose if you wanted to make them 100% waterproof you could apply the packing tape to both sides.
thanks again!
