Work is progressing awesomely on the photowall. Here are some pics of it as a work in progress. Right now we need to find some pictures to put in the blank frames. The plan is to find some of my grandparents, maybe one of me as a baby and one of me with my parents and sister. Then we'll get some from Jeff's family too.

Mid-Sized Cutout:

Before:

first, the size: i think we started with a 4'X6' sheet of ply, then cut down the longer side to 68" because it has to fit in my dad's Equinox. we're going to build a stand for it so that the oval frame is about where an average size person would stand.
the night before the wedding we are bringing to our venue and setting it up. during cocktail hour one of my bridesmaids will have her camera set up on a tripod and be taking pictures of our guests. we aren't sure if we'll get everyone done in that time so it will stay set up during dinner but guests will have to take their own pictures with their own cameras.
all the frames are wooden so we are going to either nail them into the wall or screw them in. we figured that was a more reliable method than using an adhesive.
the oval frame is from a thrift store and used to have a mirror in it.
my mom and dad gets all the credit for creating this. i basically showed them the picture of what i wanted and they have completely run with it. they've done everything from finding the gorgeous wallpaper, the frames, even making some frames and painting the gross ones. i'm so lucky they care so much about making this as gorgeous as it is...looks like some of my craftiness is rubbing off on them ;)
This is the nice part about getting hitched in the town you live: you can make stuff like this. We are getting married in BC, so not a lot of access to power tools. boooo!
