I agree. I do my best to comment as much as I possibly can, but will try to step it up :) I welcome all newbies not to feel obligated to leave comments for every single post in fear that they will be looked down upon in any way. I do however, encourage everyone to simply increase the support. Myself included!

I agree, we can all comment more. I generally leave a comment unless I don't know how to answer a particular question (like when someone asks how to do something). A simple "congrats" or "beautiful" is greatly appreciated. You don't have to write a book, just leave a simple short comment. =) Thanks for posting this!

YES YES I agree...I don't get on here much since the wedding but I will be more....we can't forget about the the beautiful up coming brides....sorry! ^_^

About the last month of planning I finally accepted the fact that only a few brides would comment and I was fine with that. I preferred quality comments over quantity anyway. Ironically, 2 of the brides on my top 5 list were the first to comment on this post. LOL

I definitely try to comment as much as possible, but it's difficult. I've noticed its pretty much the same people that have been commenting on my page, and it'd be nice to hear from new people. No one should feel obligated to comment, but that really is what this site is about. I love it anyway. Its an awesome place to share ideas and I've gotten so much inspiration from other ladies, even before I became an official member!

I agree -- I get super bummed when I posta DIY project or a problem I'm having but get next to nothing in responces. I'm dedicating this lunch break to comments :)

I totally agree and try to comment especially when people ask for help or votes...b/c HELLO I want it done in return. I have even voted a few times recently and asked them to do so for mine...lol and they did!

Oh I'm so glad you posted this! I comment all the time on people's posts and it just kills me when I take the time to upload a ton of pictures (we just got married in May) or I ask a question and I get "VIEWS", but very few comments...it's like what the hell is the point!?

If you guys have Facebook, I highly recommend adding the Weddingbook application it was awesome when I was planning our wedding-you get a TON of responses on there =) I like this site cause you can keep all of your posts together...on there it is more of a board/forum format..just saying if you need advice or whatever go on there too. =D

I'm totally guilty of this - oops! I only check WBC on my coffee breaks so I don't always have time to reply. Plus now that the wedding is so close I don't have time to post or to check everyone's blogs like I used to and I miss it. So I'm going to try and keep up to date more for the last few weeks before the wedding :)

Good post...there has recently been a huge turnover of "older"brides and a lot of newbies. So maybe they haven't seen or weren't a part of what WBC was about. I haven't been on a lot lately, maybe a quick browsing, because work has been really busy so I've been working a lot of hours. I do pop in for a few moments, but even then it's not for very long. Work is slowing down a little bit so I'm sure I'll be back to commenting as I once did.

Well said !! I am a newbie! I think that you's ladies are so creative! I have been on another similar websites and they were very harsh.Since joining WBC I feel very welcomed! So thank you ladies! I feel as a newbie that I post alot. I kinda feel like a stalker...lol!! I just love everyone ideas and how everyone supports each other in many different ways!! Keep up the great work ladies!!

From my experince I will see 150 visited my post but only 6 people commented. I admit I dont come on as much due to this fact & so I go to my other blog spot where I feel I get more response from.. sorry but its the truth...

I agree, I fell of not because I already got married but because of finacial issuses and job searching I am back and try to leave a comment for someone at least once a day. It is hard for me now since I am working and go straight to football practice and then have to come home and cook dinner for the family but I promiise to my wonderful ladies I will comment more because i love the feed back on my question. Thanks a million for posting this.
