I wear my all the time and for everything. Even to change the baby that I take care of I am with my ring on. I am used to it and doesn't bother me at all. =)

I hope you have insurance cuz if I was you i would lose my ring soon haha. I have taken my ring off like twice since I have been engaged...like 4 months. However im a nursing student and going back to shcool soon and my ring always pokes through the gloves so I might have to take it off for clinical. eeek. haha

i wear it 99% of the time. to work, to sleep, to the gym. usually in the shower, washing dishes. The only time i take it off is for my soccer games every sunday. my finger feels SO naked without it!!! I showered the other day after doing yardwork and i had taken the ring off for the shower, then we were leaving to go grocery shopping and we were just pulling out of the driveway when i realized my finger was empty!! i made FH pull back in just so i could go get my ring.

NEVER!!!!! I must say when I was younger and had my first wedding engagement ring, I was so used to taking it off. I even took it off to clean it in the bathroom and mistakenly flushed it down the toilet after wrapping it up in tissue. DUHHHH! I will never do that again. Only time I take mines off is, when I go to the jeweler and have them clean it. About once a month?

I never take mines of unless I am cooking... something about raw meat and my ring makes me sick(nutrition major.. seen all kinds of stuff) but other than that it is on me 24/7

Do what's best for you. I wear my ring all the time. I would probably lose it if I didn't. I do take it off when I am relaxing my hair or putting lotion on my hands. I will also take it off in the rare occasion that I get my nails done.

wow. i'm really surprised that all you girls wear it like, all the time. i think another reason i'm a little hesitant to wear it is because it is white gold and a few months after i had been wearing it I noticed that that part of the band where my finger meets my palm was starting to yellow. i took it to the place we bought it and the woman said i must have a high ph level because the rhodium plating was reacting to my skin and there was nothing i could do expect keep re-plating it every 6 months. i don't wear it nearly as often as i used to.

I am like Rhonda. I only take mine off when I get it cleaned at the jeweler.

For me it's the fact that my FH loves when I wear it all the time. I know he spent a lot of money on it and I want him to know how important and special it is to me. It's the only jewelery that I don't take off regularly.

I don't think that makes you a bad fiance, just do what makes you comfortable.

unless im making something out of ground meat NEVER... i have insurance on the ring so if anything happens they will replace anything... if i lose or scratch teh diamond they will give me a new one...

its on me 24 seven... im so used to having it that i dont feel it at times and it freaks me out.... lol

I wear my ring all the time. I never take it off. I feel naked without it, and I love it so much I never want to anyway. I only take it off to clean it or when i put on hand lotion.

Honestly...NEVER!!! When we first got engaged (back in June 2003) I think I used to take it off when I was in the shower...but now I don't really remember for sure lol!! I know I always take off my grandmother's ring just cause it's big and kinda long so it always get caught in my hair...so I think at 1st I used to take off my engagement ring too, but then I figured why bother, it doesn't get caught on anything cause it's really not that big lol!! So at most for like the 1st month I took it off in the shower, but now the answer is NEVER!!! We just got married on 8/7/09...I wore my engagement ring on my pinky that day and then did a quick switcheroo right after the ceremony so that in all of our pics you could see both rings on my finger!!

When i got engaged in 2004 I hardly had my ring on my finger.. but now I have it on all the time other than i'm doing dish's and or doing something like swimming or hicking. But to be honest I didnt wear it all the time until this past March and we have been engaged for 4 years. So your not a bad fiance

I've been engaged about 2 months. The only time I'd taken it off is a few times for showers and I've done that probably 5-6 times and EVERY time I forget. Sometimes I realize an hour after my shower, sometimes I don't realize until the next day then I panic when I'm at work and I look down to sigh and am like "WHAT?!?!?" haha. Once I drove back home 20 min when I realized I didn't have it. It's also a big deal for me b/c my fiancée ALWAYS seems to look it when we're together to admire how awesome a ring he bought, lol. So I try to wear it always.
My mom never took hers off and I always wanted to be like her. I don't really wear jewelry, but I hardly notice it even after just a couple months so shower is the last thing on my list of things to conquer! I would love to wear it always and not even think about it.

I flip out if I'm not wearing mine. It's like a security blanket for me. lol. I know that sounds bad, but i feel protected- like everyone knows not to bother hitting on me because there's a big, sparkly sapphire on my hand.

I only take mine off for a shower/washing my face or if I'm working with something that could stain it or I'd have a hard time removing- ie. pastry, meat, spray paint etc. If I forget to put it back on after a shower, I'll flip a u-turn to go home and get it, even if it means I'll be late to wherever I was going.

Wow- I am a little more like you- my ring has a high profile (Read, snags the heck out of my hair) and I take it off to sleep, shower, wash dishes, cook- etc- ie ALL THE TIME!! Heh heh. I guess the advantage is ours will stay shinier, less scratched and require less maintenance ; )

I never take mine off! It gets dirty very fast because I am a hair stylist so lots of product and shampoo and cond. get in it!! I love wearing it cause I get so many complements on it lol

I have been so protective over my ring! I wear it out, around the house (watching wedding shows or the bachelorette, LOL) but I take it off to wash my hands, sleep, shower, make food, and work (I'm a massage therapist.) but its funny cause I'll wear it on the bus to work then take it off for like 4 hours and hen prompty put it back on once I am done. Sometimes I wear it on a necklace but usually I keep it in my ring box.

I only take mine off to shower because the prongs get caught in my hair, and when I swim (Monday through Thursday) because of the chlorine. Diamonds may be the hardest substance, but that doesn't mean they can't be damaged.

Don't feel bad. If you dont wear it becouse of house cleaning or work related that is fine.

I dont wear mine all the time, becouse I dont like to be washing dishes or cleaning, cooking with my rings on. When I used to work in a restaurant I never use to wear it, I didnt want to lose it while doing something or get it all dirty or scratch the stone. You never know.

I wear it when we go out. Even if is to the grosery store. Is not acceptable for me to not be wearing it out of the house xD! Hubby gives me a congrats everytime I dont forget =P

If I worked in an office environment, I would wear it all the time. If restaurant, no way...it would get messed up. But I wear it all the time right now. I never wear it to wash dishes, in the shower, or to sleep. I'm always wearing it on the weekends. So if I'm just at home, I will probably not wear it unless I just want to stare at it for awhile and feel happy thoughts about wedding planning ;P. But another thing, FH likes to see me wear it --must be a man thing though he gets when I don't want to mess it up due to housework etc.

I take mine off to wash the dishes and then I forget to put it back on! FH came home yesterday and was like what is it over? you aren't wearing your ring! I jumped up and put it on and he was like no no don't try to put it on now! He's so silly.

I'm like you-take it off for showers, dishes and when I sleep. I don't want to risk damaging it if I don't have too. Mine is also doing a little yellowing. It's has diamonds almost all the way around but where it doesn't looks a little off color. Stinks!

I only take mine off to clean it or when i'm doing yard work thats it. I love my ring and it feels weird when it's not on. It doesn't make me feel more commited either but it is a symbol of our love and the decision we have made and I'm very proud to wear it.

To the bride who said that those who don't wear theirs as much will stay shinier and less scratched ?? It's a diamond for pete's sake they don't dull OR get scratched! the band can always be polished.

Gee, not being COMPLETELY stupid I am acutely aware that diamonds don't scratch thanks!! I was referring to the band- and I am pleased you use the "good china" congratulations!!

i wear mine all the time... but i can't wear it at school during my lab (Culinary Arts Student) i hate not wearing it... it makes me feel naked! cuz i can tell that it's not there...I also take it off when i shower and when i do my hair because i have really really curly hair it will get stuck!!! lol

I take mine off every chance I get. I am so horrible. When I come home from work, I naturally take it off and sometimes when I leave the house forget to put it back on. I know this may sound strange but I am not a big fan of rings and the only reason I wear this one is because of the meaning and because it is BEAUTIFUL. But I am trying to get better at wearing it. :)

I take mine off to wash hands, put on lotion, wash dishes, etc. I can't sleep in rings b/c my fingers swell pretty bad during the night. I think I've only left it at home like once or twice since we got engaged on Xmas day. And usually as soon as I get home from work I take it off...kinda like taking off my bra after getting home from work, I take off my jewelry too LOL

I wear it all the time! I worry about it if it's not on my finger. If it's at home I have visions of my house being broken into and ransacked, and the ring snatched up. Haha. It is insured, but it's irreplaceable in my opinion!

I wear mine most of the time. I take it off to shower, when I'm doing something with lotion or something like that (put then I put it back on), and I take it off when I'm cooking with raw chicken or raw meat so I don't get germs on it. But other than that, it's always on.
