DIY Wedding
Favors
It has been quite sometime since I have blogged on here! Since my last post I have done SO much planning. I got my wedding shoes, picked out my accessories, found a d.j., made my wedding invitations (well my wonderful friend Jacque designed them and I cut them out and pasted them to the pocket fold I bought, and they turned out GREAT, I will have to post pictures.)

Now I am onto favors.
I was thinking of having cd favors and had a few ideas. Here are my ideas for the playlist:
Joe and my favorite songs
Joe and my favorite love songs
Our must playlist from the wedding
Each member of the bridal parties favorite song
Songs that go with our theme (butterflies/garden)

I am leaning toward each member of the bridal parties favorite song plus some extras from Joe and me

Would you like getting a homemade cd as a favor at a wedding?
If yes, which type of play list would you like best?
favors, cds

Wedding Shoes and Invitations
I don't want to be traditional, but shoes I like are hard to find!
I have planned all of the huge details for the wedding: photographer, d.j., church, venue, reception flowers (and will probably use the same person for the ceremony flowers), cake... so now it is down to the little details, the pretty details, the details I am SO not good at!
I definitely do not want a traditional wedding, I would like it to be a little more modern and a lot of fun!
Anyway, I was wondering what shoes all of you beautiful brides are wearing and what kind of invitations you are making/buying? Right now I am thinking of wearing blue shoes for my shoes I just don't like any that have a small heel (Joe is only 2-3 inches taller than me) and I love the pocket invitations and the hand painted invites.

I like the Ivory/Silver one.

Do you think they match? Or is the headband too much?

I can't decide!

Blue Wedding Photography We picked a photographer!

Wedding Photography
We picked a photographer!
Ok so after days of pros and cons between the two photographers, my FH and I made a decision! Even though Palermo has more experience in the wedding photography business than the Click Chick she was too traditional for us. Joe wanted to do something more fun for photos.. and I agree! We are too goofy for traditional photography! I am mailing in my deposit and the next thing on the list is a DJ! or a band... hmmmm more decisions lol
I posted some of my fav. images from Kara but they are not showing up right now!

Blue
I want to have a fun summer wedding. I am not looking for a traditional wedding that is for sure! My colors are ice blue, buttercup yellow with coral accents. Right now I am debating on whether or not I want a theme... I was thinking using butterflies to tie everything together.
