Wedding Rings And Jewelry
Tungsten Wedding Bands
So I heard of this metal called Tungsten. We budgeted $500 for the wedding bands and I almost freaked out when I realized that men's gold wedding bands are very expensive. I guess because there is so much gold used to make a thick ring. I know the matching wedding band to my ring is $199... that leaves $200 for his.

So you can get a Tungsten ring for less than $200 dollars. They are supposed to be the strongest metal, stay shiny and polished forever, and are not easily broken. So in other words, good for a guy who is really athletic and outdoorsy. I know they cannot be resized.. but tungstenworld.com offers lifetime sizing exchanges.

Has anyone ever heard of these rings? I know you can get them off ebay for less than $100. But I also heard there are a lot of fakes out there. I have never heard of this before and it seems a little odd not to go with gold or platinum. Ryan doesnt really care what his ring is made of.. as long as it is simple.

Ask a Question
Engagement Party???
Everyone is asking me when I am having my engagement party! I have never known any couple to have one before. I need some guidance as to whether I should have one or not. Has anyone had one? What are you supposed to do? Serve food? Who pays for everything? I am so confused!

Save the Date
Magnet Save the date Cards!
So we chose to make save the date magnets... they are designed for business cards from Staples (canada). Ryan designed the image on photoshop and we imported it into the template! They turned out great. We have a website attatched because we are not doing invitations (go green!). Since Ryan is a video editor we are going to do a movie invitation that will be posted on our website.... let us know what you think!

Wedding Reception
Carmen's Banquet Hall
This hall is pretty carefree. We pay one all-inclusive price per person and that includes: taxes & tips, limosine, Deejay, all decorations, centerpieces, open bar, midnight buffet, and a great italian dinner!

They have everything planned for you down to the minute. Its a great pick for a couple that doesnt want all the stress of planning a reception. I think for 175 guests we are looking at 12,000 inclusive.
