I finally picked up my dress and veils (long & bridcage) last week Friday! Yay!!!! sorry for the late post but I'm running real thin on time!.....I am super excited even if very sleep deprived Can't post the pics of my dress bcuz "you know who" may take a peek *wink* I am still working on my to do list - the favors took longer than I wanted them to but WOW they came out amazing I will be posting pics later xoxo

I am in need of some WBC Tiffany Blue Brides help :o) I ordered 2 different samples of the table runners I want, one is in polyester and one in satin.....which one is your favorite? and why? *Pictured is the latest addition to my centerpiece collection* Thanks for all you help!! xoxo >>>>UPDATE<<<<< THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!!!! I decided to go with the polyester beause I was getting a lot of reflection from the satin and the silver teapots plus the votive candles... check out pic 3, these are my 6 top tables and runners, however I had to improvise with the teapots as I didnt take one that day - the kitchen helped me out Lol ( I ended up having to trim the runners as they were a bit long)

I ordered my guestbook!!! It's sooo cute it jumped out at me and I was all over it.... I couldn't punch in my credit card details fast enough!!Lol It's by Mindy Weiss - You gotta check out her shop!!!....holy beautifulness, but *ouch* to the wallet on some of those items....I love the idea that guests write their wishes to you on little cards and put them into one of the envelopes on the pages of the book. The book has 18 pages with six envelopes per page - pretty neato!!! AND....... I clicked on over to ostrich.com ( job hazard: I'm becoming a shopaholic) and bought a pretty feather pen in a light blue to match the guestbook!!! 2 more things check off my to-do list! xoxo >>>>UPDATE<<<<<< I ordered this guestbook book from American Bridal and 3 weeks later they cancelled my order with the excuse that they were sold out, then I looked on their website and noticed that they still have them as available so BEWARE! As I am getting closer and closer to the date of me being able to apply for my marriage license, I am having a hard time letting go of my last name :o( Though I look forward to the day when I will carry my FH last name with pride....My heart breaks at dropping mine...I have a pretty cool last name and not only that, for me it's an honor as I carry my moms maiden name by choice, it's part of my heritage and ...well...it's always been a part of me. I am the only one in my family that still carries the name as we were adoped by my stepdad and we all took his name, ( at 18 I picked it up again) everyone else is married and have changed to their married names and I feel that it's my duty to carry on Lol.... Should I feel bad for wanting to hyphenate? What are you doing?..... ?

I bought my shoes online today and I Looooooove them! - Yay!!! I was originally going to do pink shoes but then decided/undecided well... maybe Tiffany Blue....then I thought NO!!,... Since we are having a destination wedding, most of our guests are from out of town, so making them feel welcome is one of our top priorities, we are hoping to put some goodies in these bags and have the hotel deliver them to their rooms before check in! Wedding Reception - Favor Boxes Bought!

I looked high and low for the favor boxes I wanted to no avail soooo.......today I gave up and bought another favor box which I think would be a good alternative, I'll probably have to change the whole look of the package which really sucks but the truth is its 40 days till the big day and I would rather have things DONE in advance!!! Pic 1 is the favor I want to create however all the boxes I found were either too big or too short :o(....... so I came across pic 2 and thought it would also make a great favor box and the hunt was on, I finally found something similar at papermart (pic3) and I was over the moon as they were only $19.93 for 100 (plus 11.00 shipping!) xoxo

Wedding Invitation - Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

I took on the task of creating and printing our rehearsal dinner invitations...it took a less time than the invites to put together even tough I created these from scratch * gloat * but I am very happy the way they turned out!!!! our wedding colors are a bit girly so I decided to make these black and silver in ode to my Fiance :o) I used black envelopes for both the inside and the rsvp envelopes so I used silver ink to pen the addresses, I then sealed it and added a fleur de lis seal - tada! xoxo

I'm so stoked my rsvp's are all coming in the mail!!!! funny enough only a few have rsvp'd on our wedding website...... Did I mention that putting them together took forever and a day!!! - phew!! I ran the outer envelopes (envelopments) through my printer, stamped my address on the back (office depot) and the inner tri-fold envelope (envelopments) was sealed shut with a fleur de lis wax (paper source) seal (michaels) I used a glue gun and getting the temperature just right was..mmmm.....challenging at 3am!!!!!! The first pic shows the suite created by Erin from Lucky-Luxe - she did an amazing job, I later created a Map card using photoshop and also created a card with my website info by scanning the invitation and using some the image (I bought the font) I was lucky enought to get the love stamps, they remind me of playing cards which ties in so well to our wedding as my fiance is also a professional poker player!!! xoxo

I ordered several freeze dried rose petals for my petal toss cones - the selection is so pretty!!! I paid $13.00 for 5 cups.....anybody found freeze dried petals for less?? (I did a test run only) I am making the cones pictured in the exact colors, I finally received the paper for my cones, I got lucky as this paper is now discontinued and I happen to get the last batch they had, it has a really pretty raised design in a soft velour texture to the pattern... the pink ribbon is ordered as well. Engagement Party - 4th of July Love

In continuation to my last post.... My Fiance's family had a lakeside 4th of July Engagement BBQ in our honor and we were so..... Honored!!! The food was **delicious** being out by the lake with my future family to be was simply fabulous, once again I'm thankful for having such wonderful people do such nice things for us...sniff...sniff... I know it looks like I am ONLY partying but trust me the sleep deprivation I am dealing with is nothing to reckon with Lol I feel zombie-like and I am afraid to look in the mirror, on the bright side my " To Do" list is getting smaller - Yay! xoxo

Helllo!!! Sorry about taking that very long "vacay" I've been working and travelling back and forth and I've hardly had the time to stay sane........a lot has happened since my last post...so over the next few days I will bring you all up to speed including pics of my Wedding DRESS!!!!! Lets start with my bridal shower tea party which was held at the Ritz on June 27th, it was sooo pretty, super fun and delicious... petite fours, tea, champagne, mini sandwiches, fruit tarts, cupcakes....yummmy!! It was better than I imagined, so happy to have such wonderful people in my life :) that combined with being home with my family and friends, the sun and the beach - Total Bliss!!! xoxo missed you all too! A while back I posted about making these handy and darling DIY Bridesmaids Fashion Cards for my bridesmaids, today I saw the pictures on my sim card and realized that I had not posted them here for you to see! { I blurred the BM last name for privacy } The Feather and Mask are just for visual aesthetics Lol, I plan to use them at my wedding as photography props to incorporate some Marie Antoinette fun!!!!!
