Drink & drive program
The Imfamous Drunk Uncle
We've all seen it at one time or another. The Uncle who is all too happy the bar is open. They continually re-appear in the lineup for a drink and soon the bartender knows their name and their drink. Then slowly, they start to get sloppy. Draping their affections on unsuspecting Grandma's who gracefully smile and say "George, go get some fresh air". That, or Grandma's Tai-Chi training kicks in and George gets the old "White Crane Spreads its Wings" and kisses the laminate.

So if you are aware of someone who may have a bit much make sure they have someone to watch them. Above all else they understand that no-one is to drink and drive. RIDE programs are quite common outside known wedding venues and if people know that they are less likely to be tempted. Plus your bar bill is a bit lighter.

Everyone is looking to have a good time at your wedding day, including the Drunk Uncle and a little bit of foresight can prevent all sorts of uncomfortable situations.

Are you arranging transportation for your guests who may drink too much?

Were not having alcohol at our wedding. Niether of us are big drinkers and because we are having it at the lake and we will have jet skis, boats and swimming we would just rather not have a lot of alcohol. I told my fiance I would feel horriable if something happened to someone on our wedding day. What a horriable though every anniversary.
