saturday August 16, 2008....I cant wait!!!!

I'll be having it on a Monday. Most of our guests will have no problem getting out of work during the week, especially during the summer, and everything is SO much more inexpensive.

Saturday August 1st. Did you know that Saturday is the unluckiest day of the year to get married on but the most popular and di you also know that rain on your wedding day is good luck!!!

i am having my wedding on saturday July 19,2008!!

I would like to have it on a weekday because it cost less, but most people work during the week and its easier to have it on the weekend.

I got married and had our reception 2 saturdays ago April 26, 2008!!! Our next reception/celebration party is on a Friday night (the hall was cheaper that day) July 25, 2008. Since we couldn't do it too big in San Diego.

we are getting married theis JULY 4th it just so happens it fell on friday but have found out that although if poses a problem for some as far as being a workday it also has its advantages-such as cheaper rates for being friday. The groom chose the wedding date so didn't want to change it

Our actual Wedding ceremony is on the Friday evening and then Saturday evening will be the reception. It would have been to hectic to do both things on the same day for me.

Ours is an evening, Friday weddiing, September 5th. Labor Day weekend is the weekend before, so many of our guests are coming in during Labor Day weekend and staying the entire week. We aren't leaving for our honeymoon until Monday, 3 days later, so we can hang out with all of our friends while they are on vacation.

By the way, we are in Orlando, so many of our guests are using our wedding as an excuse for a vacation. Friday has a discount, but it is also convenient for our friends who are in town at work.

Plus, I know with experience how rough it is, flying back hung over Sunday morning, and having to go to work the next day. Rough!

Sunday, October 12, 2008! It's Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Most golf clubs we visited give cheaper rates for friday and sunday, but not if it's long weekend. Luckily, the place that we absolutely wanted gave us a saving of 2k for booking it so late in the season (we booked it in April 08)! YAY!

I'm getting married on a Sunday. I was told that it would be cheaper and more vendors would be available, especially in June. :)

I think someone made up rain being good luck to calm a crying, sobbing, wet, and upset bride many, many years ago!! Hehehe!

I prayed like crazy for sunshine and my prayers were answered! We were blessed 78 degrees on the wedding day or something wonderful like that!

My date 9/13/08 was not hard to choose my FI brother who is the bestman.. Will be home from IRAQ for two weeks in September and he has to be here for the wedding my FI wouldn;t hav any other way.....

Our wedding will be Sunday August 30, 2009. My fiance choose that date because my grandmother has cancer and just in case she doesn't make it the day will be shared with her birthday.

We wanted the 08-08-08 date. 8 is my fiance's favourite number. And it was just a bonus that the venue was cheaper since its a friday!

Sunday August 31st, Canadian long weekend!

Sunday, August 17th. The 17th is the date our anniversary is already on so we decided to keep it as it meant something special to us.

Wednesday, December 31. :) My fiance is supposed to be home from Iraq by Christmas. And so we decided that New Years Eve would be a fabulous idea! It is a weekday, but it's the holiday season, so everyone will be in the mood to have fun and travel. I'm so excited!

Saturday July 11, 2009 Can't wait!

Saturday. We were going to get married on a Wednesday because we were having a destination wedding. But our plans changed so now it'll be on a Saturday. I REALLY wanted it on a completely off day but oh well, minor detail.

8/8/8 we'll have the whole weekend to party - starting off with lady's night on Thursday. We picked the date b/c 8 means new beginnings plus if you lay the 8 on the side, it's the infinity symbol.

Friday April 16th 2010 our ten year anny.

We're getting married on Friday, September 19th at 5:00 p.m. - I sent out save the date emails in January so that anyone who really wants to come could book a 1/2 day or a full day of vacation. I feel like it was a little selfish of us, but because all the really nice venues were booked on Saturday's we didn't have much choice!
