How Far Ahead to Book Hotel Rooms?
Any advice on blocking off hotel rooms for guests. My wedding is next June...should I go talk to hotels now? Also how did you figure out how many to get. I mean, obviously I've added up who I think would need a room but did you put extras or anything? Any advice welcome! Thanks!

We blocked about 15 rooms. I would do it about 9 months early. I did. PLUS u get a group rate:=) I would go in person, you get a contract as well..

My wedding is next June as well, and I am planning on contacting a hotel near our reception in the next couple weeks. The sooner you do it, means one less thing you have to stress about before the big day approaches. Plus maybe you'll get a better deal :)
