Just out of curiosity when should wedding invitations be sent out? I know right now Canada post is on strike and I have no idea when they will be done.

they are not on strike... yet.  

i would say to send your invites about 2 months before the weddnig approximately.  most etiquette sites state 6-8 weeks.
