Golf Balls and Tees

We decided to do personalized golf balls as our favors. After searching high and low all over the internet for the best deals we finally found them! Matt is a golfer and because the wedding planning was taken over mostly by me I wanted to throw something in there that he would appreciate. These are the cutest things. I also decided to get the personalized tees as well (which were so cheap )

No the only question is how should i assemble them??
should i put them in a clear box and tie a ribbon around it and put the tee through the bow or should i put them in a clear bag and tie the tee in the bow with the ribbon?? decisions decisions??
What do you ladies think looks better???

I found some really cute shoes I will totally be using for the wedding. I was browsing DSW looking for a cute pair of royal blue shoes (which are so hard to find) but then i found these babies! They were only 39.99 and that morning i received an email for $10 off so the total was 32 bucks. They are so comfortable i was surprised!! I walked around the store in them for like 15 minutes to try them out.

What do you ladies think??? I was going for blue shoes but now i will just dye my crinoline blue instead, (maybe)

Also I have been on vacation this week and got to work on some wedding projects that i have been procrastinating on, I finally got all 100 bubbles tied with the ribbon i wanted, that project actually took a little longer then i thought, i didnt think just tying ribbon would be so complicated but yea it kinda was LOL.
do you think a 100 is enough when we are planning about 180?? i was thinking mostly the women would want to blow them? and mostly the aisle seats?? thoughts??

Also i ordered more blue carnations for my pomander balls. i started this project a while ago then ran out of flowers. now i have them and the pomander making sessions are back.

what do you think? was going to hang them on the aisle chairs for the ceremony but now it looks like i might need to get some hooks instead because the chairs i have dont have a place to hang on the back of the chair.

Wedding Invitation

Save the Dates are in

So after getting our engagement pictures back the very first thing we had to do with them was make save the date photo cards.With time flying by so fast i had to get them out. I choose to use shutterfly and im pretty pleased with the outcome. I choose a simple design and the were only 48cents each so i saved a good deal compared to other companies. I was so excited to get the package in the mail and then opened it and was a little disappointed. they forgot to send the envelopes with them. i was a little stressed out about it but i live chatted with the representative and he had those envelopes shipped out the next day over night. I was so happy. After gathering all the addresses and feeling like this is for real now with a finalized guest list they went out in the mail! ALL 100 of them!!

The day I sent them out the lovely lady (Shayne) designing my actual invite sent me a proof to finalize and it was amazing. This wedding is moving along so fast! And its finally becoming so real!!

So ladies what do you think???

Wedding Photography

engagement pictures are back!!

So a few weeks ago FH and I had a date to take our engagement pictures. We were so excited and nervous (FH) but I think we did alright. We got a chance to get to know our photographer who was amazing to work with. The only thing that went wrong was that it was probably the coldest and windiest day we could have picked. The day LOOKED nice and warm but believe me it was far from it. We wore our jackets or most of the shoot and the times that i did brave it and take the jacket off i became numb within minutes. LOL. Nevertheless we got some really cute pictures and i just ordered our save the dates!

Engagement Pictures tomorrow

So tomorrow is our big day to take our engagement pictures. Im super excited and kinda nervous at the same time. We will be going to the beach to take them and with the weather warming up it is supposed to be a beautiful day. I picked an outfit and FH finally got a hair cut! Bought some cute shoes, and some accessories all i needed was something cute to incorporate into the pictures to make some save the dates. The inspiration picture caught my eye and i was SO in love i just had to do something like it. So tonight (day before pictures) me and my sister/ MOH went to Micheal's and bought all the supplies to make my own. With her help it went so much faster then i could have ever done it alone. I LOVE IT. I LOVE it more then the original picture!

Wedding Decoration

finally found sand!

I previously bought the heart shaped vase at Micheal's for our family sand ceremony. I couldnt find the colors of sand that I wanted at that time. Its been a while since i checked Micheal's so i decided to stop in there today to see what they had. I wasnt even looking for the sand but i turned down the kids craft aisle and there it was. Sand. All kinds, all colors. We need 3 colors since my daughter is gonna be a part of this ceremony. I originally liked the 2 blues and black but my sister told me black would have been to dark. So i went with white. What do you ladies think is white a little more neutral and natural looking then black? We are gonna display the finished product in our living room. The couches are light grey so i think the white will look nice. I liked the black too I hope i picked the right color.

Here are some of the wordings to go along with the ceremony

Officiate Speaks: _______________ and ______________, today you join your lives together. These bottles of sands of various colors symbolize your individual spirits of you and that of ____'s daughter_____. Each container is unique, representing who you are. As these containers of sand are poured into a third larger container, the different colors will join together to form something quite beautiful. You are joined together today, not only in marriage, but as family. (as a group all children, bride, and groom pour their sand in together)

Minister: _________ and _________, today you are making a life-long commitment to share the rest of your lives with each other and honor your children as well. family relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand; each representing all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be and another container for each child.

There are children who will share in this marriage. _________ will now come forward to help us with the Blending of the Sands. The gathering of this new family will have a deep influence upon them. We realize that in order for the home to be a happy one, it is essential that there be love and understanding between the children and the adults being married.

I like these examples but im sure there might be a better one. I will keep searching but if anyone has any ideas please let me know

Wedding Dress

I said YES to the dress!!

Thats right. I will Be a Maggie bride. I bought the Ambrosia.

As i said in my last post I had a dress appointment yesterday and i was so nervous for some strange reason. I had butterflies and everything. So when I got there the nice consultant lady asked me all the basic questions and i gave her a list of dresses that i was absolutely in love with from the pictures. I then told her if any of them werent in my budget to not even pull it. I didnt want to be disappointed. She said all the ones i named were within the budget and that Ambrosia was just a little over. i was so excited. i tried on 4 Maggie dress. Priscilla, Mona Lisa Royale, Sabelle and Ambrosia. Then i tired on an Enzoani dress that looked beautiful in the picture but was super ugly on me haha. i loved the way all of them looked on me Then it was time for the last dress. she saved the best for last. once i put it on i just had the biggest smile on my face. i was worried it wouldnt look good on me because im plus sized but WOW i was impressed!!! My FMIL started crying and my aunt and my sister loved it. I didnt cry but i couldnt stop smiling and staring at myself. i think i had it on for like 20 minutes i was pulled in that corset so tight i couldnt breathe and i still didnt wanna take it off. I bought it right then and there. first dress experience and it ended up GREAT. When it came time to size i was kinda shocked that i actually needed a smaller size then my street size clothes. I was under the impression wedding dress sizes were bigger but whatever it feels good to say i got a smaller size!! :)

So yea im super excited and just thought i would share my experience with you ladies!! Now i just need to figure out what accessories :)

Time to Go shopping!!

Tomorrow I have an apt to try on some wedding dresses!! WOO HOO im so excited. There are so many dresses to choose from I LOVE them all. :)
I am looking for something similar to these dresses but I cant break the budget either. I look at all these dresses and I hate that there is no prices listed for them. How the heck can a plan a decent budget without the prices. It just makes the whole process a little harder since research is involved.

Im having an outdoor wedding do you ladies think these dresses are a little too fancy for that?? I LOVE all the details that are involved i dont think i can do something more simple :)

Finally BOOKED a DJ

Hello ladies,

Its been a while since I have posted. I hope you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. The Holidays at work for sure kept me busier then I expected.

Now that they have finally past and The new yr has began its time to step up my planning process.

First I finally booked a DJ. It was way more expensive then I anticipated but after googling and researching all the DJs in my area I seem to accept the fact that I got him for the lowest price around here. ($1,225) He had great personality and a true knowledge of music so all in all He is a winner!

Did you know u need music for like EVERYTHING??? I was kinda shocked about all the music that actually will need to be finalized.

Any non-traditional ideas of music to walk down the aisle to??

I love Music but not sure If I can actually pick out every piece for our wedding. How would I even keep track of it all??
