Married!
Some Non-Pro Pics
The Day went soooo fast! but i definatly enjoyed every moment of it. Just a couple kinks, like the 3 ringbearers decided they didnt want to walk down the aisle, and the slideshow at the reception decided to not play audio, and some family drama due to their seating assignment. but whatever, nothing ruined my day. i had a blast! wouldnt change a thing!

Ceremony Reading
Too deep?
I found this reading, and I like it but I am wondering if it is too deep. I think my guests will be sitting there like WTF? hahah what do you think?
Love is a temporary madness; it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of eternal passion. That is just being in love, which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Those that truly love have roots that grow towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree and not two. by Louis de Bernieres |

NO SEX ON THE WEDDING NIGHT???
My FH just informed me tonight that he wasnt planning on having sex the night we get married, but to have sex the next night when we get to jamaica. because he thinks we will be too tired the night of the wedding and our flight is at 7:30am to leave for our honeymoon. Is it bad luck not to have sex the night you get married? Do people actually not have sex thier wedding night? I looked at him like he was nutso. what does everyone else thing?

Bridal Shower Hoedown
best bridal shower ever!!
My twin sister and MOH threw me the most amazing shower. It was a western/hoedown theme. We had BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, coleslaw, corn on the cob, and corn bread with sweet tea and lemonade out of mason jars. It was so awesome! She made me a white cowboy hat with a veil on the back. we played lots of games and everyone had a lot of fun. nothing like any other showers i have been too, clearly the best so far!

Wedding Invitation
Invitations are out!
Finally.
My brother-in-law and his company, Adapter Design customed designed my invitations. It is an all-in-one invitation with, maps and the RSVP on the end so they can just rip it off and send it in. and the inviations were letterpressed to give it some texture. It just folds up so it doesnt have to be in an envelope. When i went to send it through the mail, the post office gave me a lot of crap. I requested them to be hand-canceled (non machinable) so they wont get ripped up. But the manager told me they possiblly could get ripped up down the road if they get sent to another distribution place. so he suggested these envelopes that had a clear front so i didnt have to re address and restamp each one. He failed to tell me the price of them because after i shoved all 100 of these invitations into these envelopes, i found out they were $4.95 to ship each one. so it wouldve cost me approximatly $500. YEAH RIGHT. so I took them ALL back out and went to office max and bought me some of those clear mail seals and sealed them shut so they dont get torn up. They might be hard to open but as long as they get them, its all that matters. |

Favorite Love Quotes???
Just wanted to list some of my favorite love quotes. What are some of your favorite?
"I love you, not only for what you are, But for what I am when I am with you." --Roy Croft "Within you I lose myself. Without you I find myself wanting to become lost again." --Unknown "To be your friend was all I ever wanted; to be your lover was all I ever dreamed." --Unknown "If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you made me smile, I would have the whole night sky in the palm of my hand." --Unknown "Love doesn't make the world go round, love is what makes the ride worthwhile." --Elizabeth Browning "There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved." --George Sand "When you are in Love you can't fall asleep because reality is better than your dreams." --Dr Seuss Love is a promise, love is a souvenir, once given never forgotten, never let it disappear. --John Lennon Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. --1 Corinthians 13:4 The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return. --Eden Ahbez |

Where to put Bittersweet Symphony???
So the FH requested ONE song for the wedding -- "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve. The thing is, I hate this song. well i dont hate it, i just prefer that its not in the wedding. I suggested maybe it could be for the introduction of the bridal party....but ughh i was totally hopeing we could do something super cool for the introductions. but oh well, i feel bad this is his only request. Any other suggestions where i could put this song in the wedding?
