I've posted pics of the cakes in an earlier post but the pics didn't do the cakes justice. My cake was my dream Cinderella cake and Steven's.........well........Steven's cake speaks for itself. Seriously......his cake was absolutely awesome as well and they both melted in your mouth. I just can't tell you "future brides" how fast your day will go and how much you want to relive it over and over again. I see these cakes now and I get to appreciate ever single thing about them......at the time, things were moving so fast that before I knew it they were cut and being eaten!!!!............

Wedding Reception
A few more pics are trickling in.....
It will be a while before I get my professional pics back from the photographer but I'm anxious to share the ones I have gotten from friends. I just can't reiterate enough to those brides out there who are still waiting for your big day.........take time to breathe, take it all in and try to etch every moment into your mind. It goes by so fast and before you know it your night is over and all you have left are memories. I'm not trying to be all melancholy or anything, but we all have spent so much time and money on what amounts to about 6 hours.......an hour or so for the wedding and about 3-4 hours for a typical reception. I just know for the last couple of weeks, I've tried to so hard to relive it all in my mind and its such a blur. Its so sad that all my planning is over......I didn't want it to end.
I wish all of you the very best and most of all God's blessings on your wedding and your marriage............ |

Well girls........what can I say? My wedding has come and gone and it was absolutely wonderful, beautiful, magical......all the things I'd hoped it would be. GETTING MARRIED.....
In 2 weeks!!!!!!
I can't believe I am actually getting married in 2 weeks. I've been planning my wedding since February 15 of last year and at first I thought it would NEVER get here. Once Christmas was over, the time has flown by. I have so many emotions right now.....I'm so excited, I'm nervous, I'm scared, I'm anxious......among others. I'm 25 years old and I've never lived anywhere but at home with my mom and dad. This is going to be such a huge adjustment for me.....one that I am looking so forward to and in the same breath, I'm scared to death of. My mom is my best friend. I enjoy her company more than anyone's I know. She has to be at work long before me in the morning and I can't imagine waking up in the morning and not smelling her perfume as I walk down the hall. I guess its just that assurance knowing that she's fine, she's gone to work and I'll talk to her in a little while. I love my dad to death too.......I'm going to miss spending time with him during the day just running errands and going to lunch. He has a very lenient job schedule and I'm a hair stylist so I make my own hours. Its not like we are moving far away and I'll see them every Sunday at Church, but its still going to be very different for me. Don't mistake any of this as having second thoughts about getting married. I love Steven so much and he's everything I ever wanted in a mate......you can't even compare the types of love that you have for your parents and type of love you have for your mate. I know I'll be fine once I get my routine down and get adjusted to my new life...... but I'm really praying that God will give me the strength I need to be the best wife I can be and continue to be the best daughter I can.
Have any of you experienced these types of feelings at all. I know I'm probably in the minority. I'm not one bit ashamed of living at home with my parents. I have the most wonderful family in the world and I'm so glad I've had the amount of time I've had to spend with them and create all the wonderful memories that I have. Time flies by so fast and I don't regret any of my life......my mom and dad have always been there for me and I know will always be there. For those of you who would.....please keep me in your prayers and ask God to continue to pour out his blessings on me and my fiance!!!!! We are so very blessed to have the families that we have and the love that we have for each other. The next 2 weeks are going to be extremely hectic so I probably won't be on here much, but I'll be checking in for any comments you may have. Thanks for allowing me to share my feelings.......... |

I can't tell you what a wonderful time I had at my boudoir photo shoot......the pictures turned out great....I'm really proud of them and I know Steven will love them. They are all very very tasteful but show a little more skin than I can post here. I recommend that any of you who can.......do this if not for anyone else......for yourself.........

Boudoir Shots.....
Had mine taken Monday....
Ladies.....this was one of the funnest (is that a word????) things I've done for my wedding. My Boudoir Photographer is a woman.....which I highly recommend.....and her studio is in her home. It was the most awesome experience!!!!! My mom and I went, I took about 8 different outfits with me, I took some champagne and orange juice for mimosas before the shoot to loosen me up and it was absolutely great. As you can see from any of my pics posted on here.....I'm a very average size woman, not small in the least, I definitely could lose a few pounds....and yet.....I felt beautiful. The pictures are very sexy but very tasteful and I can't wait to get all my proofs. If you can get past the shyness just a little bit.....it would be so worth it.....C'MON.....You are all beautiful and you deserve to do this. I promise you, it will boost your confidence level. My prayer for each of you is that you feel beautiful, confident and empowered to be the very best you can be for now and for your wedding day........
