This is the cake that I picked out of a magazine but.....I left the picture with my cake lady and I never got to scan it in. Instead of the ridges on each cake, mine will be smooth and covered with sugar crystals. She said she can absolutely duplicate these and they will be even more beautiful than the ones in the picture!!!!! I am going to use hydrangea (tinted rich purple of course instead of the flowers shown here). She is also going to throw in some white flowy feathers for dramatic effect!!!!! I am so excited. My reception is going to be filled with crystals, rhinestones and shimmer......She also had a "crystal tree" on display in her showroom and we are having it displayed on a table between the Bride's cake and Groom's cake along with tons of crystals and rose petals. Here is a picture of a Crystal Tree I found on the internet but the tree in her shop is black and there are tons of strands of crystals haging down....all different lengths....it is so beautiful. Also, she will be hanging candles in the tree also.
