I's married now!
wedding & honeymoon's over...
Well ladies its all over, all the planning, stress, etc... lol. Suprisingly I was totaly calm the whole day. I didnt even cry walking down the aisle! lol. The wedding (ceremony & reception) was awesome! It was suppose to rain but it held off. All my decorations turned out beautifully, everyone loved it! The combo of colors was amazing! The only problem of the night was my dresses bustle broke or something so I didnt get my french bustle, but my coordinator did rig it into something and it still looked good, lol. Other than that my dress was amazing. Oh our cake was beautiful and tasted sooooooooooooo gooood, everyone commented how delicious it was.
One thing that every one says that is so true is that "it goes by so fast" So take time to enjoy it! Also we just got back from our honeymoon in Jamaica, and it was amazing! We went to Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica. The people there are the nicest most hospitable ever. The sun and water is absolutely beautiful! The drinks and food delicious! I We are already planning to go back next year! Lastly pictures are coming soon of both the wedding day and honeymoon! |

Anyone else notice WBC is having problens. First with the pictures. And now I notice when I post it says I'm from Fremont, CA, but I'm in Philadelphia?! LOL! When are they going to fix this?

MY SHOES!
Pink Flats! Love!...
OMG! I have spent countless hours upon hours and days upon days searching for the perfect pink ballet flat to wear with my dress. I thought for awhile I would not find them. I am taller than my FH. And I didn't want boring white ones that I would probably never wear again, I wanted something thats pops! Especially for photos! This shoe has everything I wanted the right color pink, satin, and the crystal/rhinestone embelleshment! Got them on Ebay for $79, not bad. Finnaly! Perfecto! Love them!

Wedding Invitation
HELP LADIES! Help me choose!
UPDATE:
Okay ladies, Ive uploaded a new file of our design so you can see the actual colors we used. Still like the 2nd one better? Thanks again! So I've attached 2 pics of the wedding invitations I am torn between. The 1st is the 1 my fiance and I designed ourselves. By the way it is suppose to be a darker purple background, but for some reason when I upload it on here it's lighting the colors and making it look weird and blurry, but you get the idea. The 2nd is from modern girl invitations, ours would be similar except ours would not have the green. While we love ours (especially the hours of work we put into it, lol) and would be cheaper to get printed. The 2nd is just awesome! But would be a little more to get printed. So which one should we choose? We got to pick one within the next week so we can get moving on these as our wedding is May 28, only 4 months away! Ahhhh! Help ladies, lol! Thanks! |

Hello Ladies, It's Been Awhile!
Happy New Year!
Hey ladies I havent posted in awhile, but I read almost everyday. Just like some other ladies here I am sooo behind in the planning process. But now with the holidays over, im gona get crackin on it, lol! Got to as my wedding is only like 5 months away, My 28th, OMG! I havent even done my STD's yet! Or my invitations! I guess part of me was waiting on my fiances bonus, which he got and is a pretty good amount, but were still gona need more. So we are thinking about getting a small loan. This planning stuff is stressful and overwhelming at times! Also neither of us have a DIY bone in our bodies, lol, so we gota buy everything. Things I do have done include, Ceremony/Reception venue, DJ, and Photographer booked. I just made another payment on my dress, so 1 more to go! Probably be goin for my 1st fitting end of this month, or begining of next. Oh yeah I did meet with a Florist, and want to meet with another before I sign a contract. Still gota pick the bridesmaids dresses, and tuxes, favors, and a bunch of other stuff. Oh Man! Im sure it will all work out in the end, though.
I did attach some pictures of inspiration for my wedding, such as centerpiece, and bouquet ideas and my color scheme. |

Mirrored Tables Update....
Well ladies I got a price quote and to do 10 tables with the custom cut to fit plexiglass it was a whopping $4280!!! So thats definatley out of the budget. So I may try the small mirrors under the plates idea.

Mirrored Tables!
I am in love with this idea! But how could I recreate it for the round tables our Country Club provides for the reception? I don't want to do just the mirror in the middle under the centerpiece thing, I want like the picture, the whole table covered. Is there any way to achieve this look? Maybe not using mirrors, but something else that's highly reflective??? Thanks ladies!
