Bridesmaids
long and looks good on most body types!
I wanted my maids to be comfortable and warm so we settled on this dress which is body friendly, long (which covers up the legs), and mishap free. The color is serene.

Wedding Cake
I love buttercream instead of fondant
This is sort of how I want my cake to look. Since I'm inclined to have buttercream instead of fondant, I unfortunately can't have those special shaped cakes like the ones you find on "ace of cakes" but at least I can enjoy eating it!!

Wedding Flowers
What we came up with
- Mixtures of tall centerpieces, low/mixed, and medium arrangements
- slightly modern but not minimalistic - flowers: hydrangeas (blue and white), tulips, dalias, and roses, and other seasonal varieties - vendor: Amy Burke designs - The ideas for the arrangements were flowing! and I can't wait to see how they look!! Here's a couple of examples of some elements that the arrangements will have.... - the centerpiece will be like the one in the back minus the fruit and with a different color scheme - we are also putting blue submergible led lights at the bottom of the vases.... |

Wedding Hair Style
First trial
So this week was "pack te vendor meetings" week. Admist the tasting, florist consutations, and pries meetigs, I found time to even get my trial hair and make up completed. I loved the result! As referred to me by my wedding coordinator, Duncan Reyes, I tried Giselle Phan. She was wonderful and efficient! It also helped that she happen to live only 10 minute away and often does her trials at home. As you can see here, I decided on a loose updo that was more natural than the tight curls often seen on wedding brides.

Wedding Dress
Waiting on being ready for the 1st fitting
So, I have about 2 more months before my first fitting and thus trying to get to my best "wedding" body...it's so hard to not have that chocolate... or favorite cake! A tasting also doesn't help hahaha.
