Post wedding blues?
Just wondering if any married WBC brides felt a bit of the blues after the wedding?
I feel like after so many months of working and planning, stressing and saving...its just over. And the thing is I feel like I barely remember the day, almost like when you wake up from a dream and you have a general idea but you can't remember the details?! Maybe I'll remember more when I see my photo proofs? Has this happened to any of you?? |

I can't believe it!! With all the details that went wrong this week I'm so ready...I'm starting to be able to walk (read: hobble) around now so it shouldn't be too bad for tomorrow.
I had my rehearsal on wednesday and it was a complete disaster!! When we got to my venue they didn't have the room ready for our rehearsal. We're getting married on our dance floor and it was full of stacked chairs. So we got started late and then as I'm looking around I realize that the tables are not the ones that were in the room originally...these tables are oval shaped and smaller!!!!! OH NO!! I did my seating chart based on round tables of ten and these seat 6-8 so now what?? My whole seating chart is wrong and all of my place cards need to be changed. I now need more centerpieces, more dishes for mints, and more table name cards. Did I mention that my centerpieces were purchased out of town?? That's right, my sister in law had to drive 3 hours to Ohio yesterday to get more. And the table cards and place cards were home made so I had to run out and buy more card stock, etc and make 16 more! So now this morning I am redo-ing my seating chart for the 3rd time and reprinting my place cards!! Fun wow :( But, on the bright side...our bridal party gifts turned out beautifully, the dresses are all altered and perfect, FH already has his tux, and all the details have been finalized!! WE MADE IT!! And with that...thank you a million times over WBC Brides!! You have all been wonderfully helpful and such an inspiration to me. You have gotten me through the most exciting and stressful time in my life and words could never express my gratitude for that. I wish you all nothing but the best and I know you will all have magical, memorable wedding days and years of happiness to come =) |

Injury update!
thank you so much everyone for the suggestions, encouragement, and prayers. as of now, i still cannot put any weight on my leg, it just completely gives out and I fall... but i am icing, and elevating, and still hoping!! on the bright side, my BM's have been wonderful!! They've come to help with housework, and my kids, and final wedding tasks. They've run errands, folded laundry, and waited on me with a smile on their faces and never complained once. one of my MOH's even rented me a wheel chair. They truly are the best bridesmaids any girl could ask for!!

4 days to go...
AND I CAN'T WALK!!
So I had my bachelorette party on saturday and i wanted to go to this country western bar, the bucking buffalo, and ride the mechanical bull...well i couldnt get up on the bull myself so the guy tried to help me, ended up kicking me in the knee, and i felt a POP and OMG I can't walk!!!!! I'm freaking out. How am I suposed to walk down the aisle? have my first dance?
I went to the ER and they said its likely just a severe strain but they can't be sure w/o a cat scan and or MRI. Since I don't have insurance until after the wedding I decided not to have those done. I am just crossing my fingers and hoping that it is a sprain and it will heal quickly but I don't have much faith :( I'm so sad right now and I feel like I just ruined everything!!! |

WOW! I can't believe there's only 8 days left until the big day. It has gone by so fast...here are a few more pics of DIY projects I've finished. I'm almost done, I just have to do my table name cards and place cards and I'm DONE!! WooHoo :)

Table Name Cards!!
Okay, so I bought pink and black card stock and planned to make my table name cards (we are using the names of love songs new and old in place of numbers) by layering the two colors, the larger piece of card stock folded and tented so that it would stand, and then using embossing powder to write the names.
Last night my sister (MOH) and I started working on them and after cutting everything competed our first one and... Now I don't know what to do! The wedding is 13 days away, I spent $70 on all the supplies to do these so I'm broke, and they look like a 1st grade art project!! Any suggestions? Inexpensive ideas? ps- i will try and post a picture later...left the stuff at my moms |

My MOH came over last night and we made my pomander balls...It went really well, quite simple.
For those who are wondering, I used silk flowers with wire stems, some greenery, a styrofoam ball, hot glue gun, and hot pink gross grain ribbon. All in all, it took about an hour to make two :) |
