He surprised me yesterday!!

We we're heading out to grab some dinner when he mentioned he just had to stop and make a payment on his Kay jewelers account...

Hmmm...so then we start looking at wedding bands, which I have been having a hard time with. My engagement ring is a plain white gold band with 3 stones. None of the bands I had seen seemed to work well with it.

All of the sudden the sales girl says "oh, I think he has one you'll like" and when I look at him he is holding a new engagement ring with matching band and its just gorgeous!! Oh, and did I mention he is down on one knee (which he did not do the first time) and he says "I can't wait to marry you!" Okay, heart melting, eyes tearing up!!!!

I felt like the luckiest girl in the world!! My new set, and his wedding band, will be here mid august. I can't wait!!

...then we went for a romantic dinner...at Wendy's, lol...j/k =)

congrats! omg you're soo lucky, it's beautiful!  my e-ring is the same as your original one and funny that i was also thinking of changing the setting to somehting very similar to your new ring (with the pave/ halo design)

Thank you ladies, and ladybugg, I know what you mean...i get misty eyed over lots of things I read on WBC. I feel so connected to everyone bc we're all going through the same ups and downs!

As for my old ring, we're having the stones reset into three necklaces, one for myself, and one for each of my daughters.
