Paranoia

I have this overwhelming feeling that I am going to forget something and so I lay awake almost all night every night going over and over my mental list and straining to think of any detail I might be missing. Its driving me crazy, not to mention it makes for a very cranky bride during the day!

Is this normal?? Are any of you having a similar issue? Does anyone know of a really good online to do list? I've seen quite a few but none that really list every detail and that is what I am looking for...

You're not alone.  I, as well as other brides have been right where you are (many times).  For me personally, I find that when I'm too consumed or focused with the wedding being my #1 priority, then it becomes just that.  I have to step away & face reality.  Yes, I want my wedding to be beautiful & in order without too many preventable mishaps, but I am more concerned with the well being of my marriage, which is priceless & dosen't take anxiety or paranoia to make work.

All I can really say is to do what  you can & make up in your mind that you will do your best, when you can.  You may even have to put wedding projects & plans on a schedule.  And seriously stick to it.  Don't be upset if you don't get everything done in that time frame, but pat yourself on the back for getting things crossed off.  If you prioritize your list & stick to it, you will feel a better sense of relief in getting it done.

Here's an awesome checklist:

Ive heard Martha Stewart has a decent online checklist:

Of course, the Knot has a checklist broken into monthly increments.

I hear ya! been having hard time falling asleep at night as well, often spending endless hours researching/ browsing online.   Feeling anxious and there were times which FH actually pleaded no more wedding talks, and kinda helps to slow me down a little
key in coping with the pre-wedding stress is try to breakdown tasks/ money in monthly order, that way you're organized & not losing control
second to the Knot checklist!

I feel the same way too. I printed up checklists from different websites and pulled them from magazines. Created a final checklist on weddingwire.com. They have a great tool where the "to do" disappears from the list once you check it. I think it's totally normal to feel paranoid, but when it comes to the day it's just so exciting and you'll have plenty of friends and family around to help deal or fix it. ;)

It's common.  It sucks but it's common. Checklists help try not to stress to much about it.  When you have a thought write it down. That's what I do and it helps me.
