So, We've had our food tasting and received a fun-filled package to finalize all the little details. Dave will be going in this Saturday to let the Olympia know what we want. (By that, I mean, ME)

I've started a big checklist for him to take so he doesn't order something ugly, ask the wrong questions etc.

We also get to taste the cake flavors soon, They better get on the ball cause there's ONLY 10 DAYS!!

Blue Hawaiian receipe
Scale ingredients to servings
1 oz light rum
1 cherry
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 oz cream of coconut
1 slice pineapple

Blend light rum, blue curacao, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut with one cup ice in an electric blender at high speed. Pour contents into a highball glass. Decorate with the slice of pineapple and a cherry.

My girlfriend, Jackee has a keen eye for these sorts of intricate items.

I personally think she should be an event co-ordinator because she's trendy, organized and has helped with alot of great ideas!

So, after searching for the most perfect, sexiest piece of lingerie my search is FINALLY OVER!

I went to Gretta's Flair here in Hamilton. Not only were the staff informative, educated and professional, but they were the funnest staff to work with! My friend's complaint was that if you're on a budget, like she is, the garments are $$$$. But when you want to look your ABSOLUTE BEST on your wedding day....COST IS NO OBJECT!

Not only does my corset make my boobs look HUGE but my silhouette is long and lean. It almost "forces me" to stand up straight!

NOW for the eve of the wedding, I won't settle and I want to blow his "Socks" off, if you know what I mean : )

I've been sent a floral genius! AND The BEST In laws a girl could ask for!!!

As part of our gift my 2nd Mother ( M.I.L) went to our florist and inquired as to ALL of the items I originally wanted for my vision AND she got all of it!!!
The pew bows, Floral arrangements, Columns, Candelabras with roses, the works! Thanks, MA!

PROBLEM SOLVED!

F.Y.I- To all of you brides looking for the PERFECT Reception hall, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!

ALL INCLUSIVE vs DO IT YOURSELF?? Which hall is best for you??

When we signed up for the Olympia it was clearly the perfect fit for us and when we went to sign and review the contract it had stated exactly which items would be INCLUDED in our package.

What I mean by this is....The Flambe show that's usually offered with the dessert buffet was originally included in our final cost per plate.... HOWEVER, Feb 28/08 a wedding guest complained about this feature and the fire chief had to ban the use of the flambe show all together.

We are still being made to pay the original price HOWEVER, they have tried to make it up by UPGRADING their dessert table.

I personally don't feel as though it's a fair trade comparing to the cost involved but it's better than nothing and it's still......

SAVING TONS OF $$$$$ compared to the other halls we looked at. (40+ Halls.)

THEY'RE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

BLUE ONES, WHITE ONES, YELLOW ONES!! STILETTO, WEDGE, CHUNK, PLATFORM??? WHAT IS A GIRL TO DO???

She is to go downtown Toronto on Orfis Rd / Dufferin where ALL the best outlet stores are found! Dave and I will be taking a trip down on the weekend to investigate.

AND maybe I can work my magic for some new "honeymoon" Clothes.
If you only knew the size of my current wardrobe, You'd say no!

I was surprised to receive a call stating that I had WON my videography, The only catch was...he HAD to be my photographer as well.

Upon doing alot of research we decided to take the drive and meet him. Once we set foot in his home, we were welcomed by tea and the colossus of his multi award winning photos.

He's even shot a couple of the Toronto Maple Leaf's and celebrities weddings!

Aside from being slow on returning messages, being more than what we were planning on spending for photography, so far, so good!

In the same visit we picked out the albums for our parents and us as keepsakes.( This will be part of their gift basket )

The day is coming up so quickly....I wonder if the moment will last?

My idea of make up is....Simply & Elegant. NOT over done!

If you have to scrub your face until it's red, that's too much!

I have baby blue eyes and I want to play up on that as much as possible AND make it look like I'm not wearing much, I think I can trust the pros!

Unlike the gorgeous Alfred Angelo dresses featured to my Left, I had to settle with last minutes.....

My MOH will be walking down the isle in a Darker royal blue, fitted, floor length, halter dress with mermaid tail to the side and Blue sparkle shimmer. ( Mari Posa, Center Mall )

MY BM's will be taking their steps down the isle in a floor length, spaghetti strap, Navy and baby blue dress with an empire waist. Picture this...A baby blue satin dress with a sheer navy blue overlay. ( Navy blue is in the shape of an A-Therefore it doesn't cover all of the baby blue. Sears )

Nothing like a magical Jamaican or Hawaiian Sunset.

UPDATE- So, all the hints I've been dropping have worked!! For our summer honeymoon, we are going to IFA Village Bavaro Resort & Spa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I can't wait to go shopping and all the beautiful clubs!!

Our winter getaway will be either Montigo Bay, Jamaica (We went to Ocho Rios in 2007) IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!

OR...Maui, Hawaii! I was there when I was 11 but can't remember all that much so we're going to refresh the memories AND create new ones...if you know what I mean...

So, Dave and I have been living together for 3+yrs now and we pretty much have all the items a married couple usually receives.

My Ladies will have a Hand Tied, 1.5 dozen bouquet which includes Blue Roses along with the Peonies as the accent. The Crystals will be purchased so each girl won't be confused on who's who.

Funny story, I ordered my dress online and wanted a royal blue accent in the back....doesn't the merchant send me a red one instead!
