Wedding Dress
I ordered my gown today!

I customized the Private Label by G gown I was talking about earlier on in my blog. Thanks to all of your wonderful advice I decided to change the top to picture B. I also added the lace up/corset back because I'm in love with that look and ordered it in Ivory, just because I like that on me better than white. I'm so excited! I can't wait for my dress to get here. I know its going to take extra long since I've had it customized :( I'm sure I have plenty of other things to plan between now and then! I'm taking down the pictures of me trying on the dress, because I don't want any up of me in my gown! I might post a few after my first fitting, but for now its a secret!

Thanks! :) I was so excited when I learned I could customize it. I fell in love with the bottom and the train when I put it on, but was so unsure of the top and disappointed. I'm so happy now!

that's so exciting! and so awesome that you got to customize it. it just means that its that much more special and unique. hopefully you don't have to wait TOO long to get it. i know the waiting would drive me nuts.

I think its like seven months or something! Definitely cutting it close. I would have been fine if I didn't choose to customize my gown. Thats the biggest advice I can give everyone, it is NEVER to early to look at gowns!

I work in bridal fashion and this dress is one of my favourites!

The train is gorgeous and I've seen it in all 3 colours (white, diamond, and ivory)... my fav is ivory!

congratulations!!! i'm so glad you went with the combo.  good taste!  very elegant and sumptuous!  i almost went with a private label too!  amazing quality!  my dress is ivory with a corset back.

aww i love it!! it's so gorgeous, beautiful choice. thats so awesome you customized it, so you'll be the only one who has it! i know a girl i went to hs with (a few years older than me) just got married & she had my dress!! luckily i wasn't at hers & she won't be at mine, & we don't have overlapping friends that'll be at either!! isn't finding & getting the dress one of the best parts of planning?

i didn't want to put up pics of me in the dress till the fitting but i couldn't find just a picture of a model with it on!

I was actually going to order that gown1 I was trying it on in a big store, with no one to personally help me (boo to big, snotty salons, hey?) and no one mentioned customisation! I don't think I would change my mind now that I have my dress, but if I had rodered it, I would have gone for top B for sure! Good choices!
