Go Hawks!
Ten days to go & I still didn't have a garter for the garter toss. I started to wonder if I was going to even make it happen. But at the spur of the moment I saw this Seahawks garter set & decided I had to get it. We're all big Seahawk fans around here so I think people will get a kick out if & J will be surprised & probably not want to toss it! I'm excited to get it!

I got the girls some martini glasses & I'm wondering what I can possibly put in them... I did get some cute lip glosses from Bath & Body Works that had sayings such as "White Hot Summer Vibe" (Crush, Fling, Gossip) Other than that I don't know if I should just fill them with m&m's or what... Does anyone have any suggestions?

Weekend Getaway
This weekend is my bachelorette! We rented a beach house from a mutual friend of my mother's who knocked off the price for us. We're going Ocean Shores, WA & I can't wait for a girls weekend away on the beach. We're going to try to get some mopeds or horseback riding in while we're there.
I also found this awesome "Bachelorette" crunk cup at TJMaxx I thought would be fun to pass around lol |

One of my bridesmaids whos a photo buff & dabbles in photography told me about this camera. After her showing me the kind of photos it takes I really wanted to get one & then I thought how cool would it be to use at the wedding. So I asked her if I bought one if she would take some pictures with it at the wedding. Needless to say she was game. It just arrived today & I cant wait to take it out & play with it!

We decided to do shot glasses as our favors. I wanted to get half pink & half black but since discount mugs doesnt total the amount of the same item as the discounted bulk price & instead counts it as 2 separate orders, which then jacks up the price
I only got the pink. The men will just have to deal with pink shot glasses = ) The saying on the glasses will be Jairus & Alisa tied the knot so have a shot w/wedding date below. Pretty simple but still cute. Aaand we do like taking shots!
I also got these sweet Hop Side Down pilsners for the BM & GM. Im going to be looking for a fun beer to go with it. Id love to get a local beer made by Elysian Fields in Seattle called The Mens Room Original Red. Its a local made beer for our favorite radio station 99.9 KISW The Rock. They dont bottle it yet but I hope they do soon cause were already getting a keg of it for the wedding. Everyone freakin loves it around here! Cheers! = ) |

Buca Di Beppo/Dress
My first bridal shower is tonight & this is my dress
My friend Maggie is hosting it with the help of some of my bridesmaids. We decided to have it at Buca Di Bepo since finding someones house to have it was proving to be a little difficult. This way no one has to clean up or set up anything either. It seemed like a smarter idea. Im excited to have some fun with my girls & nervous too. Who knows what those crazy girls have in store for me haha. Maggie also decided to request people to gift towards our Sandals registry for the honeymoon in lieu of giving gifts which I thought was an awesome idea. Shall be good times!
My fiancé was so funny last night. He literally said So what time do we need to be at the shower tomorrow? I said Youre not going You just want the food dont you? his response was Pretty much. Typical. Lol Then again, he could make for a very entertaining T.P. bride haha |
