Date Change...Now a 2012 B2B
Well, this has been an adventure to say the least. We have had some drama(ex wife) and financial issues (due to the ex wife) and now have to move our date. I am so not the type to air my dirty laundry so...we will leave it at that. If no one minds I will share how this makes me feel. Where to begin...a flood of emotions. Angry, sad, discouraged, bummed, frustrated...ya those are the majority of emotions where I'm at right now. I just want to marry him. He is the man I've been waiting for, unfortunately, his ex doesn't believe in new beginings. (It was her decision to end their marriage almost 3 years ago by cheating on him and leaving him for the other man. They have a 3 yr old son together and she's even living in another state.) GRR..
I just keep praying and know that my faith in god and in our relationship will overcome this obsticle and will make us stronger. So...I have more time to plan! LOL :) shellbeemarie |

Where's my mojo??
Hey there ladies... It's been over a month since I've posted anything! I have been dealing with my grandmothers passing...and other life stresses I guess.
I have been having a personal battle with myself...leaving me to wonder...WHERE'S MY WEDDING MOJO??? I find myself un interested in wedding planning. It almost feels like a chore. I literally force myself to think about it. So frustrating. I've been forcing myself to come on WBC like once a week hoping it will encourage me to get back into the wedding planning grove...not so sure it's working :( Naturally, this has lead me to ask myself some serious and some stupid questions..."Do I still want to get married?" "Why am I so Blah?" "Why isn't it exciting me right now?"... I sure hope I can get back in the "spirit" of things...I have so many great ideas(some borrowed of coarse lol) and inspirations for our big day. Have any of you other brides to be found yourself in this funk? Any ideas on how to reverse it? Thanks for listening :) shellbeemarie |

NWR:So heartbroken*tears*
Shellbeemarie's Grandma passed :(
I don't even know why I'm posting, I guess just another outlet. I got a call this morning around 4:30am saying my grandma passed away. She was 72 and stubborn as all get out, heart of gold, so wise. I will miss her dearly. Our family will be going thru a hard time for quite some time after losing the queen b of our family.
My love and I haven't been together very long and this is the first death during that time. He has been so supportive and I can't imagine having anyone else by my side. Just one more reason I'm madly in love. If you're reading this sad *tears* post, thanks for your support. <3 **shellbeemarie** |

Ask a Question
Nostalgic Candy???
Hello Lovies! Like many other b2b I am having a candy buffet. They aren't popular here and FH loves the idea as he is a huge candy junkie! I want to have several different kinds of candy. I really want to have some nostalgic and retro candy. Any ideas where to start looking for it? Obviously online would be an option, has anyone used a company already? Any recommendations?
Happy Friday!! Thanks in advance for your help Lovies! |

Wedding Dress
Do the Bustle...???
My seamstress originally suggested a traditional French bustle(picture number 1)...I guess it looks ok, just doesn't do it for me. I love the bustle in picture number 3&4(same dress) I think it looks prettier.
My dress is picture number 6, as you can see it's a fairly long train...originally I wanted a dress with out a train and may even opt to have a permanant bustle done. I really need help deciding...still have plenty of time, just one of those things I need to figure out...stuck on the brain! Which do you think looks best? Opinions please :) TIA!!! |

Ask a Question
HELP!Ceremony/Reception in same room???
So my venue is small with only one banquet room. They can split the room and accommodate a ceremony with seating for 50 (we are inviting 60-70) Otherwise, we will have to have guests sit at their tables for both...
My questions are: Is this tacky? Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions on how to transition? We really love this venue as it has an intimate feeling and is a smaller hotel with great suites to get ready in as well as rooms for our out of town guests. It is very resonably priced. So, venue is non negotiable, just need advice on how to manuever this lol...I'm sure out of the 70 or so people we invite a handful will decline..just curious what you ladies think.. How would you handle this? Any ideas help!! Check out the pictures last 3 are of my venue |

Wedding Decoration
I adore<3 this backdrop...
So in love with this backdrop! I love that the cake table sets in the middle of the tables. I plan on doing a sweet heart table and my bridal party is six people and their lovies get to sit with them as I think it's so awkward to make them sit with out them! I wonder how much a rental for this kind of backdrop and lighting is going to cost us...so pretty though!
