I've been thinking about sewing my own table runners, to add visual interest. I do have two years, I think I could do this. Just need to learn how to sew! LOL! Either long and narrow, or Large squares on the round tables.....

Anyone know where you can get cool fabric at a good price??

Okay, so, we are fans of the Price is Right, but who isn't?? This is why I think this is a great idea for a dinner game. Instead of winning $1000's of dollars, the point is to get the bride and groom to kiss while suffering the least amount of embarrasment possible! At the bottom of the board there is certain categories whatever the plinko chip lands in is their fate! :
*(free kiss- bride & groom kiss)
*(copy cat- where the bride & groom HAVE to immitate the way the contestant kisses their partner)
*(give a toast- to make the bride & Groom kiss)
*(Funny dance for a kiss- the DJ plays a song and the contestant has to bust a little move in order for the kiss!)
*(sing a line of a love song for a kiss)

I think this is a fun and different idea. Any others out there? Any ideas? I think the glass clinking is out!!!!!

I love this 1st picture for centerpieces... i wonder what it would look like in Mason Jars, since my maiden name is Mason I think it would be cute. If the orchids are too expensive, i would love white tulips!

For myself, I want a deep but vibrant bokay of purple. No lavender, or blueish-purple, I love the first picture for my bokay!!

For my girls, I want them to all have lime green bokays, to set off their deep purple dresses.

Kerry (my groom), will wear a purple boutinere in a matching flower to my bokay.

The groomsmen will have limegreen boutineres.....

Absolutely love the 1st dress (with the butterfly in her hair and all!!) I have a butterfly tattoo on the top of my foot. Might make a nice addition to my theme, as long as it is done simply....

i thought this would be kinda cool. One P.B. cup wraped in cello, or tulle. maybe with some other kind of candy.... white maybe.... Maybe even with our initials S&K iced on each...

Any thoughts or ideas??

***UPDATE**** I bought some p.b cups today and found them too small, might need to try the king size bars!

We both love being outdoors and would love to be married in my parents back yard. It is surrounded by a mature shelterbelt of spruce, pine, and willow trees. Would make a nice backdrop, plus it is pretty much where Kerry proposed! I guess we will have to look into renting a big canopy in case of rain though. Rain could be romantic as long as we are sheltered well enough!

After dating for 10 years he took my breath away......... May 11th, Mother's Day / My mom's Birthday, we were on our way to my parents house in the country. It was a beautiful, warm, and sunny day. My man driving, I'm riding along side him. He decided to make a stop at the corner store to buy my Mom a bottle of wine for her birthday which I thought was pretty sweet. I was holding the cake on my lap, (which was melting btw) so I stayed in the truck.

* It is our dream to build a home in the country on a little peice of land at the end of my parents 50 acres of property. Every now and then we like to go there and picture it just for fun*

He put the wine in the back seat, got back in and said that he had wanted to go check out the "property" before we get to my parent's house. At this point I'm a little impatient b.c we were already running late and the icing on the cake was melting in the sun! I asked if it could wait, but he seemed quite excited and it was so nice outside I couldn't resist! So off we went.

When we got to the dirt road he parked the truck, we both got out and I strolled a bit looking out into the field. He grabbed what I thought was his cigarettes from the truck and met me. He asked me to show him where the property begins and ends, so as I'm pointing it out he lit a smoke, took a long drag, and then threw it to the ground.... All of a sudden I felt a little nervous, but kept going on. He said "We are going to have alot of good memories here....." Then pulled a little purple box out of his pocket, opened it, got down on one knee, I started crying, .... " I have to ask you something.... I love you sooo much sweety, will you marry me?"

Once i could stop shaking enough to answer him I said, "Of course i will!!!"

Kerry bought the biggest, nicest, bottle of champagne the corner store had to offer.... Both sets of parents knew about it, and were meeting us at my parents house to celebrate.

It is a perfect ring, it was a perfect day, I'm a very lucky girl..............
