1) 16 Rose Petal Cones -$10.00 " A few petals for you, To toss at the two, As they walk down the aisle, As Bride & Groom" 2) 18 Guest Table Squares & 1 long Head Table Runner. $200.00 for the lot! -They are a Black & White "Dandy" Damask pattern. -Squares are 12" x 12" -Runner is long enough to run nicely down a 24' Head Table. (3-8' -banquet tables together for a wedding party of 12) -Our decorator placed it vertically as the picture shows... 3) *This is a chic black wooden bird cage that I purchased from Urban Barn and turned into a Wedding Card Holder for presentation at my wedding. *There is a card slot at the top of the cage that runs the whole front width and is perfect for all card sizes to fit thru; and the top of the cage is fastened by velcro. ----I am selling it for $50.00. Wedding Invitation
DIY!!!
Using our one of our engagement pictures, I created a prototype of what our invites will look like! This superbowl Sunday my girls are going to be helping me craft the other 90ish invites we still need!
The RSVP postcard was created on Vistaprint.com! They are awesome! The back is already addressed, all we need is postage stamps..... no envelopes! Plus we can control the # of people invited with the wording. The only extra that is not shown will be accomodation cards for the hotel that we blocked for the out of town guests. |

Got my wedding shoes!

Got them from Le Chateau! Same place as my girl's bridesmaid dresses, and they are a perfect fabric match! The Bridesmaids are wearing what ever style high heel they want in metallic silver.
They are a little big still in the heel but I will use these heel grabbers that keep them from slipping out. No one carries size 4 1/2 ladies heels! I will make do with a size 5! |

Bridesmaids
All 5 bought their dresses!! :)
All of my bridesmaids have purchased their dresses! What I thought was going to be stressful became the easiest part of the planning process.. Love my girls! & They love the dress!
Le Chateau $145 including taxes! Best part is they have pockets!!! Now they can pick out whatever shoes they want as long as they are metallic silver... |

Receiving Line... Is it neccessary??
Not sure where to fit in a recieving line... We arrive at the reception after the cocktail hour, right before dinner is served.. Do I have to have a recieving line , or is a card box by the guest book straight forward enough?
I realize that I need to mingle with every guest but a recieving line seems "forced", I would rather stop the party for something fun like the bokay toss!! What do you ladies think?? If it is proper etiquette to have one, when should I have it done? |
