Its on the 31st of december 2003, after many months of online chatting that we finaly met in a shopping mall parking. After I followed him to his mother's house to park my car, we took his car and we strolled through the streets of Montreal in attempt to find something to do on this new years eve. We fina;y ended up going to the movies, where we watched the last samourai.
Finaly after the movie, even with our extreme shyness, we did'nt want to part, so we ended up renting a god awfull room overly priced of course, which had a running sink and only two tv channels, and we drank a little to pass time and talked alot. Two hours later we fell asleep fully dressed, when I woke up I remember seeing Yan completely drenched in sweat because of his clothes, everyone that knows him know how he's always in his underwear, I just could'nt believe that he had been so respectfull of me that night. On our way back to get my car the sun was rising in his face and I knew at that exact moment just how good that man was...
Two days later he invited me to eat some chineese food, and he kissed me for the first time, my knees just dropped, there's nothing like a a cherry chicken kiss :)
Not even 2 years later, my Jessy had two little brothers, Max and Andrew! I'm the luckiest woman to have those 4 men just for me.
Let me tell you about one special Saturday in my life.
After an afternoon playing outside with the kids and chores that never end! I did'nt feel like cooking supper. So my boyfriend asks me if I want him to get something to eat. So I answer anyting but clown shit (mcd's) Then he said Burger King? I was like Ok! It's been a really long time since we've eaten it, even if I did'nt feel like it. So I finish up chopping the leftover ham in the meat-mincer that weights a ton. So he comes back. The kids jump on the bags like they were never fed before and then follows the strangest silence. So I look at my boyfriend and I smile and give him a little wink from accros the table and then....
The biggest suprise of my life, he tells me with a huge whopper in his hand and bite in his mouth, a pile of folded towels on and the mincer on the counter behing him and a huge grin... Marry Me! My first reaction was laughter, thinking he had to be kidding, then he laughs even harder and adds ok we are not at the ritz you are not eating filet mignon, but its in a moment like this that I realise you are the one for me. So I completely in shock and I smile back and said yes...
I know it's not the proposal most girls dream of, but as crazy as it sounds that is exactly what I needed. I don't know what that whopper had in it but it was simply magic...
On dec 27th 2009 I got a can of pop and in the 12 pack was a box with the most beautiful antique ring... I screamed so loud and jumped up and down in my kitchen like a fool and he said now we just have to pick a date...
And that's us, day to day happiness, laughter and simplicity.
