We Got a Puppy!
Hey there ladies. I hope everyone is doing well and having fun planning their weddings! It's been two months since mine and everything has been fantastic! Most recently I finally got a teaching job!!! I'll be co-teaching preschool -- which will be a great way to get my foot in the door! Also, the hubby and I added our first member to the family, a West Highland Terrier, that we named Kevin!

Wedding Photography
I'm Back & Happily Married! :)
Hello WBC family! I'm back and a married woman! Everything went so so well on the 18th! Nothing major went wrong (that I know of!) I did trip on my dress walking up the stairs but it wasn't too terrible :) The husband cried when I walked down the aisle and it was perfect.
I don't have any professional pictures yet, but I"ll share a few from my maid of honor! Hopefully the photographer can get our shots back soon! She said that we'd be able to see proofs 48 hours after the wedding day, but we haven't seen anything yet :( I posted some pictures from our honeymoon of us. PCB, Florida was scorching hot, but so so beautiful! Not a cloudy day until our last. We mainly stayed on the beach, but we went to Shell Island, Zoo World, and Gulf World -- we're kids at heart :) On the way back home, we stopped in Bowling Green, KY to see the Corvette Museum -- the Hubby loves corvettes! I'll be back when I get the professional shots! Hopefully SOON! |

Hello lovely ladies! Over the weekend I found my second pair of wedding shoes -- I had originally bought some flats from Dessy, but they made me so hot and I can't imagine wearing them in the June heat; especially since we're already having above average temperatures.
So while in my local JcPenney, I come across the most beautiful sandals. They are almost the perfect matching shade of blue. They do have a small wedge, but hopefully it doesn't make a huge difference in comparison to height. They were a major steal too! Half off and the last size 7. Score! I can't wait to wear them NEXT weekend. whoa, is it really next weekend? I also picked up two swim suits this weekend (one black, and one hot pink) for our FL honeymoon :] If you haven't been to Old Navy recently, all swim wear is $10! Great sale. I never thought I would make a card box. I always thought I would just buy a plain box and we'd be good to go. That was until I spotted adorable wrapping paper at our Party City. Then I thought to myself.. we have a BB&B box just laying around at home and Wa-la... I made a card box. It's not super fancy but it suits us. What do you think?? :) |

Hello Ladies! I posted this question yesterday, but once again no one commented. I know it could have been the time of day I posted, but it's extremely discouraging posting something and getting no feedback at all -- which has happened almost every time I've posted. But anyway, I have about two weeks to go (!!!) and I'm finishing up random odds and ends.
Yesterday I worked on our photo board and guest book. I had originally planned on designing our guestbook, but I decided I had too much going on, plus Michael's had a killer sale so I bought it there. I designed in the inside cover, though ... to add some personality. Then I also finished the photo board! Well almost. There is one blank spot on the board, a spot for the graduation picture of my FH :] Speaking of graduating -- FH got a job right after graduation! We are in the process of moving =/ but it's a fantastic job! And hopefully I'll get a teaching job down there too :] Happy planning ladies! Woo hoo June 18th brides! :] |

Repost; Wedding Makeup!
I am asking this again because I got one comment last time I posted, which made me sad. I am in dire need of help on deciding on a shade of lipstick. Like I said before -- I'm NOT a huge make up person, but I want to look and feel special.
Do you have any recommendations on brands or names of colors of lipstick? I'm not looking for anything too bold or out there. But maybe like a sheer or light pinkish color would do. So can ya help a girl out? :) |

Do you like our invitation?
WHOA! long time and no update. Happy late new year! I've been doing my student teaching and have had no time to update! I can't believe it's almost under 100 days! :)
So, my amazing neighbor designed our wedding invitation. Instead of doing all the flaps and folders, we took a simple route and did a postcard set up. A collage is on the front and our info is on the back. Guests will also get another smaller postcard and stamp that will be returned to us. I'm so excited! They should be in soon! & be sent out soon too! unbelievable! What do you guys think? also, my wedding band came in :) it seemed like forever, but I'm so glad it's here. I'll have to get used to wearing two rings, but I can't wait! Now that it's here I want to wear it now! haha. Hope everyone's planning is going well! |

Wedding bands?
Whoa, I haven't been on here in a while! We're a little less than 6 months away from the big day! I'm so excited for 2011 to hit.. It'll make it a little more real. But quick question:
How far in advance to the wedding day are you supposed to order wedding bands? We both have an idea of what we want, I just don't know the details and such relating to the proper time of buying them. Help me out? It would mean a lot. Have a lovely day! |
