Wedding Invitation
Clover Green Invitiations

Ok, so I was on David's website just browsing some invitations and OMG, I finally found some invites that are the green I am looking for. Yes, I worked and worked on the invites I did myself at vistaprint.com, but, these invites from David's are the exact color invites I have been looking for. Now the problem is.......Do I want to spend that much on invites? Do I really want to settle for the shade of green on vistaprint.com. When you look at the pics and compare them to the invite I did myself, you will be able to tell the difference in the shades of green. This is the exact color green the BM's will be wearing. I just want my guests to have a feel for what the actual colors of the wedding are. I think my fav is the one with the swirlies just like the one I did from vistaprint. I absolutely love the color in the invites, but I just don't know if want to spend that much.

have you looked on etsy.com? those are artists that you actually communicate with and there are a lot of options. say, for example, you find the invites you really want, but not necessarily the color, you can convo the artist and ask about getting those invites but in that green. they're usually very willing to accomodate you! worth a shot right?

I have to agree with Kbreunig on this one. At least with a designer like on Etsy, you can communicate exactly what you want and receive a sample before you purchase. I don't know if David's bridal provides samples before purchase, but I would look into it before dishing out too much money. More than likely you can get a great offer for a custom-designed stationery than the generic stuff :)

I can see that the DB color is a little...richer and has a little more depth.  If the color is really important to you, then I may go that route.  Etsy.com is a great option too, and you may be able to find the best of both worlds: the right color and good price, not to mention you get to customize them however you like...

By the way, CONGRATS on being a Wednesday Queen on Grateful Bride's blog!

They are gorgeous but I also agree-etsy is a great resource.  When I was looking I did a search for printable invitations and many popped up.  They send you the file and you do the rest.  That might be an option for you.

I totally love the clover green b/c it really pops!!! You might could even make your own...just buy the same green in a cardstock paper, like at the craft stores and then print out whatever you want either at vista or from your own computer onto ivory or white paper...then put some ribbon or whatnot on it to decorate! This is basically what I'm doing for my own invitations...

If you bought your dress at david's bridal you recieve a coupon book with discounts on various items from various places.  I have the coupon book and there is a 30% coupon for invites at David's Bridal.  I DIY'd my invites so I won't be using this coupon.  Contact me through my blog if you want the code for the discount. I'd be more than happy to give it to you.
