Shoes
Made some sort of a choice....
Ok...well I finally got it narrowed down to two different shoes! I already ordered the Ebony's by Touch Up's. I am debating on having a friend pick up the Lindsey's by Grace. It has been really hard for me to find a shoe that looks good with my dress, that I like, and has enough heel.

So, I am going over decorations again and still constantly second guessing myself. So I went out and bought a bunch of stuff to do some trial runs, I doubt I will get pictures of the actual thing, but here is some of my inspirations!

Picture Invites
I really don't know if it was a good idea or not to want to do photo invites. I guess when I started looking at invites I couldn't decided which one i wanted and kept going back to the photo ones. The only problem with not being able to decide is that it is an ongoing problem of coming back around to not being able decide now on which photos! Grrr! I have most of them narrowed down, now I just have to figure out wording, and get it together and done! Chop-chop is the word!

Found my cake lady!
Well I found my cake lady, her place is called Linda's Calorie Gallery. She specializes in Fondant cakes, but she has done Butter creme also. I have a couple weeks to figure out the top design I want and if i want to use real roses or real touch ones. So onto the next thing, invites!

Hmmm...choices....choices!
I don't have much time to keep twiddling my thumbs on the cake, I am pretty sure I want square, smooth with no decoration on it like the first one, with roses placed through out. I keep changing my mind though, I swear I have looked at over a couple thousands cakes and still have not seen the "one." I better get to moving!

Someone hit the PANIC BUTTON!
It is not like me to panic, I will bust a move when I am coming to a last minute situation, but for some reason this week I cannot concentrate on one thing, and it just seems like I am concentrating on panicking. I know that sounds so dumb, but I cannot get one thing taken care of! I have so much left to do it is crazy! I wish I could take a chill pill, but then I wouldn't get anything done. This stinks!

How (and Why) To Throw a Joint Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
So I have been doing some research into this joint party thing, and found a couple things:

A blog that I ran across mentioned renting a boat, and cruising around the lake or river, and maybe doing some skiing or wake boarding! That would be a fun idea! Most of the ideas that I am getting from friends are still splitting the party up, which I wouldn't really mind, but I want to do the fun stuff the guys do too! Like paint ball, or go karts, or laser tag! This is going to be a challenge! |
