I went dress shopping today and found the perfect wedding dress. I actually was looking at a different dress, but once I put this dress on, I knew it was the one for me.

The dress fit me perfectly. No alternations are needed.

I can't wait for my fiance to see me in this dress.

Now I just have to find the perfect shoes and accessories.

So I have been noticing that other brides have been keeping track of their to do list items for each month. I figure it would be a good thing for me to do as well. After I completed my list, I realize that I did get A LOT of stuff done this month. I hope to keep up with this until my wedding day.

Below is a list of items that I completed in September:

Selected wedding party - Bridesmaid, Groomsmen, flower girl and ushers all accounted for.

Book and made deposit for wedding venue - The Chadwick in Wexford

Booked and made deposit for photographer and Photo Booth- McMillan Photography

Hire DJ - My big Bro - No charge :-)

Selected Ceremony singer - My Niece Ashley - No charge :-)

Order and paid for Save the Date Cards - Vista Print: They look great and were very inexpensive

Scheduled bridesmaid shopping day - October 8

Started guest list - so far we have 96 people on our list. YIKES....Need to stay under 100 to stay within my $12,000 budget

Reserve block of rooms for out of town guests

Yes! I have been a busy bride to be. *patting myself on the back*

Schedule engagement photos session

Search and book wedding official

Set up registries

Begin discussing locations for rehearsal dinner

Start shopping for bridesmaid dresses

Start shopping for flowers for floral arrangements

Search for invitations and stationary for wedding

Looks like October will be as busy as September.

Our wedding photography package includes an engagment photo session. Not sure where we should take the photos, so I am looking for some help from brides who may or will be taking their engagment photos.

I made my deposits for my photographer and photo booth today. Whewwwwww.....didn't realize how expensive photographers are but I know that it is worth it. :-)

Checking things off my to do list.

I feel like I am finally getting things accomplished.

I know...I know...I am behind but I have a few things going on in my life. BUT, I finally ordered them and they should be here next week. WOO HOO! Since I didn't want to spend too much on them, I went with Vista Print. They were nice and very inexpensive. Right up my alley.

Now, I need to find a photographer.... ;-)

I have been searching for the last week of an 'affordable' site for my save the date cards, but is having problems settling on one site. Do you have any suggestions on where I can get reasonable price save the date cards?

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

We are 7 months out from our wedding day…

7 months!! Yikes!!!

I can’t believe we only have 7 months left to go. I know 7 months may seem like a lot of time, but time is gonna fly. I have soooo soooo much more to do and only 7 months left to do it all.

The Chadwick!!!!!!!

After much consideration & number crunching, we decided to go with a venue that provided us with the most for our $$$$.

The one thing that we both really liked was the outdoor patio area where we can have our wedding. The space is exactly what we were looking for. I love the white chairs & Trellis that included.
If it does rain, they have an area indoors that we can hold our wedding in.

For the reception, The Chadwick offers an all-inclusive package that includes:

Hors d'Oeurve
Carved Buffet
4 hour Open bar
Wedding Cake
Centerpieces (they are exactly what I wanted)
Elevated Bridal table
Choice of sit down or buffet reception
any many more great things...

The original date that we were interested in is already booked so we choose April 7, 2012 for our wedding date. Since this day is prior to Easter (4/8/12), we qualify for a 15% discount off our bill. Woo HOO! :-)

This discount will allow is to get a few extra and still fit into our budget. YES!

We still need to sign our contract so keep your finger crossed so that fits into our budget.
