Wedding Flowers
DIY Centerpieces!
So, I've been tackling the idea of making our centerpieces and my bouquet for our vow renewal next year. I'm glad it would just be a limited amount of flowers because our guest count will be small (just very close friends and family). I found this great blog by Wendy Spears, and she has a youtube channel that has lots of videos for DIY flowers.
Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/diyflorist Also, I found some more DIY wedding flowers videos on MonkeySee here: http://www.monkeysee.com/play/9513-how-to-make-a-wedding-centerpiece This video along with the others listed underneath it are wonderful! Happy DIY planning! There is a great website www.koyalwholesale.com for supplies, etc. and you can also find things on etsy.com for your DIY wedding! I plan to get my flowers from the LA Flower Mart in Los Angeles, CA. Search wholesale flowers in your are or the farmer's market for vendors who get wholesale flowers for your centerpieces. Also, my Costco flower lady does centerpieces for $19.99 each with roses in the color of your choice. I would try there too. Have not looked into the cost of doing a centerpiece like the one pictured yet. <3 Have you? |

Honeymoon
Honeymoon Deals
Love thinking about finally taking a honeymoon after ten years of being married! :) I've been using Living Social (kind of like a Groupon website) for other deals, but I happened to find a section for escapes. The deals are great, just make sure to read the fine print. If you purchase the deal, you have to use it by a certain date! If your wedding is around the corner within the next six months, I would definitely keep a look out and subscribe for emails from this website! Happy planning <3

Wedding Gift Registry
Where to register?
I wish this were my first time getting married! <3 I think since we have been married for ten years now, a bridal shower/registry would be a little inappropriate. What do you think? These would be my two options for registries!
#1: If this were my first time, I would do a registry through: https://www.pamperedchef.com/registry/public/initializePwsRegistry.tpc?email=dagmaraandrade@gmail.com&_localeString=en_us&pwsId=112190&enc=aZ6y76+utzR6JrFnn0I6cA== #2: I would also register with www.honeymoonwishes.com I would do a bridal shower with a Pampered Chef party to stock up my kitchen because I love PC products! They are so versatile and the best thing is they are covered by a warranty! The picture I have posted is a centerpiece using one of my fav products the trifle bowl!!! You can use this bowl for a centerpiece or even as a container for your candy buffet! Ask me how! Where are you going to register? |

DIY Wedding
Dessert Bar?
So.... I have been deciding that I would like to do a DIY dessert bar for our reception. Foregoing a large cake, we want to do a smaller cake and lots of pretty cupcakes to match! Loving this website: www.diybride.com! Saw this super cool centerpiece made out of strawberries. Definitely thinking of adding this to my dessert bar! With a chocolate fountain next to it? Lol... gotta have chocolate!
