Lately I've really been thinking about where we are in our lives. We've honestly done everything backwards compared to the "norm".
In order:
- We have 2 beautiful children together (I have 4 in total - 2 from my
previous marriage)
- we've taken 2 vacations to Disney World
- we just bought a house (Moving in November 5th which is 5 weeks before our wedding)
- we are getting married on December 11th
My older 2 daughters are like little mom's to the younger ones. If it wasn't for them and my mother, Carlos and I wouldn't be able to work the crazy hours we do to pay for the wedding, the trips to Disney World and now the house. THANK YOU!
Carlos' mom has ALWAYS been there for us too. There is never a favor that is too big. If there is a will, there is a way.... and she always finds that way to help us. THANK YOU!
Our friends.... we have alot of very good friends but there are a handful (and they know who they are) who are also always there for us, day or night. They support us in anything we do without criticizing or judging us for some of our crazy off the wall ideas. THANK YOU!
I am an only child and my whole life, I have always wanted a sister or brother to confide in, laugh or cry with, argue with... etc. I now have 2 great sister in laws (well soon). Because of the age difference it now feels like I have 2 younger sisters (one is 17 years younger and the other is 25 years younger than me). THANK YOU!
My Dad... God, how I miss him. He passed away 16 years ago and I miss him more than I ever thought possible but I know that he is still there for me. Every decision I make, good or bad...... he guides me. I sometimes wonder, "what would my dad do in this situation?" He has made me the person I am and I am so thankful. THANK YOU!
Carlos' Grandmother was probably one of the most important people in his life. She passed away in April of 2007. I do believe that she is responsible for who he is today. If it wasn't for her, he would not be the man he is. THANK YOU!
Last but definately not least...... God. He is the reason I have such wonderful people all around me, looking out for all of us. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
