Re-thinking our first dance...... AGAIN!

So for anyone who has read my previous posts on this, thanks for all your advice but I'm still stumped. We are still seriously considering having "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney as our first dance.
For anyone who doesn't know why this is such a difficult choice for us her goes ........ My ex husband was re-married back in July and I found out from our daughters that they used the same song as their first dance. I was DEVISTATED when I found out. We are both now thinking who cares! Honestly the only people who will be at our wedding that were at theirs will be my two oldest daughters, one of their boyfriends and one of their other friends! Seriously..... is it such a bad thing? We've listened to so many other songs but none of them feel right.

Tons of people dance to the same first dance songs all the time...weird...odd coincidence...sure, but who cares.  IF it is the song that you love and that fits you...go for it!  If it was the same song that you and your ex hubby danced to I would say no, but as long as you associate the song with your FH and happy thoughts...do it

I seriously say go for your original plan. Prncess is right, plenty of people use the same one! And if nothing else feels right, then do nothing else. Dance to it, dreaming of each other and what it means to you. There is no need to think about anyone else! :)
