Wedding Photography
I'm Married!!!
Chad and I had the perfect wedding day! It was a chilly 50 degrees outside the night before for rehearsal and I was pretty worried. Even when we got up on the wedding day it was only 53. About an hour before the wedding the sun came out and the temp. reached about 65. It was beautiful!!! I cried pretty much all day. I couldn't wait to see Chad and to finally become his wife!
I'm a little upset about our photos only because I worked so hard on a shot list and our photog missed a lot of them. There aren't even any photos of the groomsmen with Chad. We do have over 2,000 photos, though. I'll post more about the details of the day later. For now, I just wanted to share some of our photos. |

Garter Dilemma!
A while ago I found this blog http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/03/26/married-in-montana-all-in-the-details-part-1-of-2/ and fell in love with pretty much every detail of her wedding. I especially loved her something blue garter. It's a flask holder. How cool is that? Anyway, when I went to the website she bought it from it was around $50. I just couldn't see spending that much on a garter. So I bought a set from Etsy (a toss and keep) and had the one Ill keep embroidered to say Mrs. Webster 9.18.11. I love it! The problem is that my birthday is tomorrow, and my fiancé bought me the something blue flask holder garter. I don't know what to do. I really don't want to wear 3 garters. I feel horrible because he spent so much on it and feel like I should wear it, especially since I wanted it so badly. But I also really love the one that is embroidered. What do you girls think I should do?

Groom's Attire
I hope everyone had a great weekend and took some time on Sunday to remember what happened 10 years ago.
I was sitting in church that day thinking about what happened 10 years ago and how proud I am of my fiance for serving our country. I was also thinking about all of the different meanings and memories that day brings for me. I don't know if I would've ever met Chad if it wouldn't have been for what happened on 9.11.01. He probably would've still joined the Army, but he might've not ever met the man that introduced us and moved to my home town. I met Chad (my FH) on 9.11.06 which was exactly 5 years ago. September 11th 2006 was the day my life was changed forever, and exactly 1 week from the 11th I will become his wife. I still take time each year on that day to think about the men and women who lost their lives in 2001, the men and women who were there to help, and men and women like him who have fought for our country. But now I also take time to thank God for bringing us together on 9.11.06. I love him so much, and I can't wait to be his wife! Chad finally got his uniform all put together for the wedding, and I can't wait to see him in it. He doesn't want me to see him in his dress blues until the wedding day. How cute is that? haha The events of 9.11.01 happened when I was in 8th grade. I couldn't imagine ever thinking "in exactly 5 years I will meet the man I am going to marry who will go to war as a result of this day." I am so proud of everything he has done, and I am so happy that he has decided to wear his blues for our wedding. On a side note, I am getting married in 5 days!!! Omg! |

Card Box
I saw a card box online that looked like the couples house and loved the idea. Since we are getting married on a farm and having our reception in a barn, I thought we could have a card box that looked like a barn. There is a little country store in my town that can custom make things for you. I took in the photos of the card box that looked like a house and explained what I wanted. The one I found online had a tree carved out of wood on the side. The place I took it said they were unable to do that, but they could paint one on the side. I liked the idea since our wedding is a fall theme and our invites had trees on them. I picked it up today, and I love it! We'll be able to have it as a keepsake when the wedding is over.

Advice on the Week Before the Wedding
The wedding is getting so close, and I have gotten up every morning for the past week with butterflies because of excitement and anticipation. I was wondering if any of the girls on here who have already gotten married had any advice for my last 10 days before the wedding. I feel like I am going to miss something or forget about doing something. So
what do you suggest?

I have two flower girls. One is about 2 and the other is 8. I have decided that the two year old will carry a pennant that says "here comes the bride" down the aisle. I have a feeling her cuteness is going to steal the show!

Wedding Hair Style
2 weeks to go!!!
Last night one of my bridesmaids (my brother's gf who got us the night at Seven Springs) did my hair trial and my sister did my makeup. In the picture of the front, some of the curls had come out, but it's kind of an idea of how my hair and makeup will look on the big day. My mom and sister went with me to the hair appointment and when we put my veil on everyone got teary eyed. I cant believe were only two weeks away!! |

How in the world do I change my background?!
I have literally tried everything that I can find on here. I've searched and searched. It's gotten to the point where at first I thought it would just be nice to have a background that matched my theme. It wasn't a big deal, though. But now that I have been trying for so long, I am determined to figure out how it works! Please help me!
Ok I went to http://shabbyblogs.com/ found the background I wanted clicked on "get the code" copied the code and pasted in into the "about my wedding" on the right hand side of my page. I have also tried using the photobucket directions that a couple people put on here, and I also tried copying the code into my first blog. Still nothing! |

Chad and I have registered for our honeymoon (earlier post) and obviously wont have all of the funds until our wedding day, so we won't be taking our honeymoon until next summer. With all of the unexpected expenses, we were thinking that we wouldn't be able to do anything the couple of days after our wedding, but I wanted to get away. Another big thing for me was being able to walk into a hotel/ resort in my wedding dress with my new husband right after our wedding. I don't know why, I just always wanted to do that.
My twin brothers girl friend (who is also one of my bridesmaids) texted me the other day randomly and said "I booked Mr. & Mrs. Webster a room at Seven Springs Resort for your wedding night." I was in complete shock because I had pretty much just settled with having to come home on our wedding night. Then she said "also when you walk in they are going to give you a $50 gift card to the spa or anything else you'd want to use it for." I couldn't believe it! Chad and I are so excited about it! We have decided to stay there for a couple nights. We are going to spend some time at the resort, visit Falling Water and also see the Flight 93 memorial. All I wanted was a couple days alone with my husband right after the wedding and now that wish has become a reality thanks to her. I am so excited!! |

It seems like I have been on Etsy every day for the past 10 months to see if I can find any new ideas for the wedding. So when I chose my flower girls a few months ago, it was no exception. I took to Etsy to find the perfect flower girl dresses for my rustic country wedding. I found a shop called the Best Little Dress which had exactly what I was looking for. I have two flower girls. One is 8 and the other is not quite 2. The 8 year old is going to wear a purple dress with an ivory sash and the 22 month old is going to wear ivory with a purple sash.
